Get ready for a mid-week showdown that's going to be legendary! This Wednesday 13th of March at Paul Garnett Reserve, Coolongup we've got something special brewing – a thrilling flag football exhibition game featuring our Gridiron West squad taking on U.S. Navy personnel.
Join us for an action-packed game from 5:00-7:00 pm! It's not just about the gridiron; it's a celebration of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and the U.S.-Australia alliance.
But that's not all! Stick around after the game for snacks, meet and greet fellow gridiron enthusiasts and dignitaries from the U.S. Consulate Perth and Navy, and even share a laugh or two.
Whether you're a seasoned player, a proud supporter, or just someone curious about the excitement, everyone is welcome.

On Monday nights, the Varsity Bar holds their quiz night and the quiz master agreed to hold an American-themed trivia night on Monday April 7. Teams are limited to 8 so we'll probably form a few teams. 1st place gets a $50 restaurant voucher and 2nd place gets a $20 restaurant voucher. Free entry.
Perth Expat Americans: due to receiving millions of Irish immigrants in the 1800s, St. Patrick's day is appropriately celebrated by Americans, which we will do this Sunday March 16 at the Varsity Bar (the only American bar in Perth). Doors open in the morning and Open Mic night starts at 3pm. I propose our group get there around 6pm. The Varsity Bar will have $6 Pints of Guinness, $12 Jugs of Swan Draught, and lots of Craic!
Note: the vast majority of the people who attend our recent events are in their 20s and 30s. Please plan accordingly if you don't want to feel left out.
