Official Page of the South Perth Lawn Tennis Club South Perth Lawn Tennis Club was established in 1898.

The club has a proud history of over 100 years of tennis in the City of South Perth and is located on the corner of McNabb Loop and Murray Street in Como, Western Australia. Our facilities include 12 grass courts, 4 hard courts, a modern clubhouse, childrens playground, barbeques and off-road parking. Surrounded by Pine Trees and open spaces, we can play tennis and enjoy our club facilities in relaxing and tranquil setting.

South Perth Lawn Tennis Club Championships concluded on Saturday 16th April with the following results
Men's Championship Singles - Winner Vic Kalbarczyk and RU David O'Connor
Men's Championship Doubles - Winners Jade Thorpe & David O'Connor - RU Hans Niklasson & Lawrence Fiorentino
Mixed Championship Doubles - Winners Rachel Wong and Zane Saffrey - RU Caitlin and Glenn Cridland
Veteran Championship Ladies Doubles - Winners Mali Jitrkambaeng and Rina Ecclestone - RU Chris England & Keryn Zeeb
Veteran Championship Men's Doubles - Winners Mark O'Connor and Warren Hastings - RU Phil Kong & Stuart Maddison
Veteran Championship Mixed Doubles - Winners Keryn Zeeb and Nigel McCombe - RU Brenda Rohl & Warren Hastings
Presentations held at the club after the final by Club President and Club Captain Lorraine Chyne. Congratulations to all players and finalists.

The courts are looking great with all South Perth Tennis Centre grass courts nearly ready for the weekend season opening celebrations this Saturday 11th October starting at 2pm
All members and visitors (no visitors fees this weekend) are encouraged to attend and members encouraged to bring family and friends to enjoy the day. Afternoon tea at 3.15 (members please bring a plate to share) and sausage sizzle from 5.15.

Congratulations 🥳 to Simona for making it to the WA State Team under 11s
We are so proud of you, well done and wishing the team all the best 💪🏻💪🏻😊

🖤💛 Congratulations to the Under 11 players making the WA State Team. The team travels to the Gold Coast for the Junior National Champions on Wednesday with matches starting this Friday.

Lauren Nikoloski will coach the Girl's Under 11's and Mitch Pleydell will coach the Boy's Under 11's.

SPLTC held a presentation ceremony on Saturday 25th May for our winners of last summer’s pennant.

Congratulations to Phil’s team on winning the Wednesday Night Men’s Doubles Division 6.
Congratulations also to our 2 MVP;
Callum from Wednesday Night Men’s Doubles Division 6 and Akshay from Sunday Mixed Doubles Division 1 🥳🥳🎉🎉
It was also Coaches Day that day, where our energetic club coaches from Breakpoint Tennis took some time out to join the members for social tennis. It was great fun 🤩😊

South Perth Lawn Tennis Club had just had their annual club championship, which ended today. The level of tennis was great and there were some very good and close matches by contestants.

Hi All
Due to the extreme weather predicted for tomorrow, it is ........HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT THERE WILL BE ANY TENNIS ORGANISED TOMORROW AFTERNOON.

We are not allowed to let play go ahead if the absolute temperature is above 38°c or the
wet bulb temperature is above 32.5°c. (as measured at Jandakot Weather Station)
The weather tomorrow is predicted to be above 38 °c (and at 41°c ) from 2pm to 6 pm. 🥵🥵
People are being advised to stay indoors.

The COME & PLAY DAY will occur on Saturday 20 January, when the weather is predicated to be much cooler, around 25°c. 😀
