A new tradition begins.

WA Modified Sedans is proud to unveil the John Purser Cup—a brand-new four-round series that recognises John Purser's outstanding contribution to Modified Sedan racing in Western Australia.

Made possible through the support of WAMDA, the John Purser Cup has been created to celebrate the passion, dedication and commitment that have helped shape our division.

Over four rounds, drivers will battle for points, pride and the honour of becoming the inaugural John Purser Cup Champion.

Who will become the first-ever John Purser Cup Champion?

🏁 Tonight, we're incredibly proud to introduce the John Purser Cup. 🏁

Some people leave a lasting mark on a sport while they're still part of it, and John Purser is one of those people.

Through his passion, dedication and countless years of commitment to Modified Sedan racing in Western Australia, John has played a huge role in helping build and grow the division we all love today. His contribution to our sport deserves to be recognised, and we're honoured to launch a series that carries his name.

The John Purser Cup is more than a championship. It's a celebration of the history, the friendships, and the competitive spirit that make Modified Sedans so special. Throughout the series, WA's best drivers will battle it out for the honour of becoming the inaugural John Purser Cup Champion.

We're excited to celebrate John's incredible contribution while creating a new tradition that we hope will inspire competitors and fans for many years to come.

Congratulations, John, and thank you for everything you've done—and continue to do—for Modified Sedan racing in Western Australia.
