If you feel like you’re doing everything right but nothing’s changing, this is probably why:

You’re doing cardio instead of building muscle. HIIT burns calories but it doesn’t build the shape you’re after.

You’re not eating enough protein. Without it, your body has nothing to build with.

You’re training but not pushing hard enough. Going through the motions won’t force your body to change.

You’re restricting all week then blowing out on weekends. Learning to eat in a way that feels balanced is what actually makes results stick.

You’re relying on willpower instead of a system. Willpower always runs out - structure doesn’t.

Fix these and your body will actually start responding. It’s not as complicated as it sometimes seems, the plan just has to be right for you!

Doing everything right and still not seeing results is honestly one of the most frustrating feelings, but most of the time it’s not your effort that’s the problem - it’s the approach!

What actually changed things for me:

Dropping the cardio-only era. Cardio isn’t the enemy but it’s not what changes your shape. Building muscle and actually progressively overloading your lifts is what does that.

Eating consistently, not perfectly. Restricting all week then blowing out on weekends isn’t a you problem - it’s not a sustainable cycle for anyone. Balance has to actually feel like balance!

Pushing harder in sessions - I was training hard but never actually pushing that close to my limit. Getting closer to failure is where your body actually has to adapt! 🙂‍↕️

The real shift came when I stopped guessing and followed something structured - a program actually made for me, learning how to progress in the gym, and a way of eating that fit my day to day life.

How to hit 130g protein without eating chicken and rice for every meal 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

High protein doesn’t have to be boring or complicated. Here’s how I hit 130g in a calorie deficit:

Breakfast: Yogi bowl with chia seeds, banana and a drizzle of honey → 20g
snack: Greek yoghurt (300g full fat) + berries + granola → 20g
Lunch: Chicken breast + risoni + marry me sauce → 45g
Dinner: Steak + potatoes + greens → 45g
Snack: Another yogi bowl, could eat this for every meal tbh → 20g

Total: 130g (no protein shakes needed 😮‍💨)

The key is building every meal around a protein source first - then adding everything else around it.
