In a dominant performance by Tully Schweitzer and Sophia Sammons, Tully has been crowned the Oceania Champion, taking out the elite and U23 win!! π₯
Over four 28km laps of a hilly course, Tully and Sophia worked hard to whittle down the peloton. On the start of the last lap, Tully broke away from the reduced bunch before Sophia bridged across to her, where the girls rode to the finish together π
Chloe competed in the U19 race where she finished an impressive 8th in a reduced bunch against the best in the continent! π

Mt Mitchell to Inverell β
From early attacks to pushing the pace - Grafton to Inverell threw everything at us, and our girls showed up π
Day one showcased the whole team working together to protect the series overall lead. The pressure was on from start to finish and they left it all out there resulting in three top ten finishes.
Amanda, who rode selflessly throughout the entire race, showed true grit and determination in the face of a late crash, and still rolled through the finish line.
On day two, Lillee lit up the Inverell Criterium with a strong 3rd place after a hard and hot hour of racing π₯

Never count us out.
Today we raced aggressively and with a plan, salvaging our race as a team by launching attacks and showing our class. Sophia and Tully slipped away after being launched by their teammates, sprinting to 2nd and 4th on the stage.
The result secured the overall ProVelo League jersey for another round, while Sophia also locked in 3rd on GC for the tour along with the Young Rider jersey.
Now itβs time to recover and reset before we go again next weekend.
