Benjamin Shearer and Easton Shearer each finished with 2 goals and multiple points, with Colby Salmon and Dirk Szabo also scoring. Lachlan Scott made 8 saves for the win.

A strong finish to close out the tournament — that's a wrap on WA's campaigns at Nationals 2026.

🥉 BRONZE FOR GINSBERG! WA defeats NSW 3-2 in the bronze medal game at IHWA Nationals 2026.

Wes Bavin, Rowan Macnamara and Reggie Bowers scored for WA, with Micah Chan collecting two assists. Ava Win made 19 saves to seal the win in front of the net.

A great way to close out the tournament for the team.

Tange finish the group stage with a shutout — WA defeats QLD 4-0 at IHWA Nationals 2026.

Tyler Rodden scored twice, including a power play goal, with Colby Salmon and Benjamin Shearer also finding the net. Taj Siah was perfect between the pipes with 11 saves for the shutout, and WA dominated shots 32-11 on the day.

RESULT: WA fell 6-3 to Queensland this morning in Newcastle in Nationals action.

Queensland jumped out to an early lead, but WA answered with two third-period goals to make it a genuine contest down the stretch.

Final scoring: QLD 2-1-3, WA 1-0-2.
