Originally from Ireland, Gareth spent several years playing Division 1 football with South West Phoenix, where he also coached the Senior Men’s team.

No stranger to State League football, Gareth brings valuable experience from his time coaching East Perth Reserves, guiding the side to the 2025 League title.

We’re excited to have Gareth on board and look forward to working with him and his squad throughout the season.

💛🖤 FORRESTFIELD UNITED – GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY 💛🖤

Last night, eight of our State League players, some of their wonderful partners, and our Club Social Events Manager, Julie Reynolds, proudly volunteered at Kai’s Big Gold Ball, supporting the amazing Kids Cancer Support Group. 🎗️

Held at Crown Ballroom with an incredible 1,000 guests in attendance, the evening was a fantastic celebration of generosity, community spirit and support for children and families affected by cancer.

Our volunteers rolled up their sleeves, assisting guests, selling raffle tickets and helping with ch*****ne duties throughout the evening. 🥂

At Forrestfield United, supporting this wonderful cause is something very close to our hearts. Each season, we proudly host our annual Pink Day, which earlier this year raised an incredible $8,000 in just one day!

We also organise our annual Christmas Present Drive, with our players personally delivering gifts to hospitals to bring some Christmas joy to children undergoing cancer treatment. 🎁🎄

💛🖤 A PROUD NIGHT FOR FORRESTFIELD UNITED! 🏆⚽

Last night, we attended the Football West State League Awards, where Forrestfield United was recognised for an outstanding 2026 season!

Our State League Under 18s were acknowledged for their incredible achievement of winning both the League Championship and Top Four Final! 🏆🏆

We also had some fantastic individual recognition across all three State League teams:

⭐ Under 18s: Thando Tshuma and Jordan Salim – Fairest & Best nominees.

⭐ Reserves: Cooper Holland – Fairest & Best nominee and Golden Boot WINNER! 🥇

⭐ First Team: Austin Reynolds – Fairest & Best WINNER! 🏆

To have players recognised across all three grades is a tremendous reflection of the quality, strength and competitiveness of our football club.

🏆 CUP GLORY TO KINGSLEY 🏆

Sadly, our Masters 35’s went down 3–1 tonight to a deserving Kingsley Westside FC.

The lads gave it absolutely everything, but unfortunately came up short on the night. 💛🖤

Not even elevating Marty Allen to the starting XI could make the difference.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who turned up and supported the boys. Your support means a lot.

We’ll be back bigger, stronger and better next year. 💪
