Synonymous with Spanish Dance, Danza Viva is one of the few outside of Spain to incorporate the full range of Spanish dance from classical to flamenco.
Founded in 1984 Danza Viva is Perth’s oldest Flamenco and Spanish Dance institution. Director Sofia Pratt offers rigorous and thorough syllabus based training as well as open choreographic classes throughout the year. Danza Viva welcomes students of all ages and backgrounds and encourages students to perform as much as possible at both a community and professional level.

Sofia Pratt is excited to be back for Fringe World Festival in 2025 with Danza Viva artists Monica Galeotti Medina, Annalisa Cicchini and Eloise Budimlich, as well as La Pandilla Flamenca musicians Will Ditcham and Moira Desport.
