Every week, our club is supported by incredible people who give their time to coach, manage teams, help with Auskick, umpire, run events, support players, work behind the scenes and keep community footy moving.

A big thank you to the Northern KnightCats boys for giving back to the next generation this week. 💙❤️

The boys ran a fantastic training session for all of our Kingsley JFC girls teams, as well as another session for both of our Year 7 boys teams.

It was great to see our older players stepping up, sharing their knowledge, and helping inspire the younger players around the club.

This is what community footy is all about, players supporting players and building strong connections across the club.

💙 Vale Neale Daniher 💙

Today, the football community mourns the passing of Neale Daniher, a true legend of our game.

Neale’s impact went far beyond football. Through his courage, humour, resilience and relentless fight against motor neurone disease, he inspired Australians everywhere to stand up, care more, and keep fighting even when the odds were impossible.

For so many of us in community footy, Neale represented everything that is great about our game — leadership, family, mateship, toughness, humility and heart.

His legacy will live on through every blue beanie, every Big Freeze, every player who learns to fight with courage, and every family touched by the hope he helped create.

On behalf of everyone at Kingsley Junior Football Club, we send our deepest condolences to Neale’s family, friends, the Daniher family, FightMND, and the wider football community.

Rest in peace, Neale.
A man who had an impact on all of us. 💙
