🔴🔵 OUR MOST SUCCESSFUL SEASON—BY THE MEASURES THAT MATTER MOST 🔵🔴
At Kingsley Junior Football Club, success isn’t measured solely by wins, losses or premierships.
We measure success through participation, improvement, sportsmanship and the experiences we create for our players. It’s about helping young people become better human beings and ensuring every player finishes the season more confident, capable and connected than when they started.
By those measures, 2026 has been an outstanding success.
Our club continued to grow, with more young people and families becoming part of the Kingsley community.
We also continued to strengthen our female football pathway. Participation in our dedicated Friday night girls’ Auskick program doubled in its second year, while we proudly fielded eight girls’ teams across our Mods and Opens competitions.
Throughout the season, we watched players develop their skills, grow in confidence, build lasting friendships and learn what it means to be part of a team. Those moments of improvement and connection, both on and off the field, are what junior football is all about.
The introduction of our club training tops was another positive initiative. They created a more professional and united look across the club and were extremely well received, with our players continuing to wear them proudly long after training and the season had finished.
Most importantly, our strong player retention tells us that our kids feel welcomed, supported and excited to return. That is perhaps the clearest indication that we are creating an environment in which young people can enjoy their football and thrive.
None of this would be possible without the coaches, team managers, volunteers, parents, sponsors and supporters who consistently put the experience and development of our players first.
Thank you for everything you contributed to making 2026 such a positive season.
Together, we are creating better experiences for our kids and strengthening the Kingsley community, one game at a time.
Enjoy the summer, we can’t wait to see what the 2027 season brings!
