The List Events and where we are at

First of all my apologies for lack of updates or information on what’s happened and how we got to where we are

2 weeks ago Ray , Sharpie ,Murray Oconnor and myself had a meeting where Ray informed us to the fact he wasn’t comfortable putting his name down as the meeting director for coming list events due to safety concerns with track quality or lack of and his liabilities and duty of care to the racers should a serious or otherwise incident occur , Sharpie also confirmed he didn’t want to be put down as meeting director either
About 3 hours after that meeting I was informed of a close family member being in ICU with very little hope off recovery so my priority went to my family , sadly we lost our family member three days later which I’m sure many can understand changes the priorities of life
However doesn’t make it right not keeping people informed and again I apologize
Moving forward
The track surface has become a major concern of many people to the point there will be NO list events run until the track is rectified
Trust me this isn’t something anyone of the group behind the events wanted to see but we don’t want to see anyone injured or cars turned to junk
Hopefully we can get some quality time back at the track when the track has been rectified to run the list events again
Lets hope to see the track surface back to being the premier track in Australia

These dates are a possibility bearing a few factors
Confirmation of moving forward will be dropped mid May
Whilst I understand it may not give some a lot of time to prepare and be ready
We are hoping it works and gets supported by the awesome bunch of folk who have run previously and a few new ones who previously missed out

Guess I better drop in and see Secret Santa and check if we’ve been naughty or nice and he’s willing to stump up some more $$$CASH$$$

Hoping to do some more of the 8 car style shoot outs if the entrants want it

As much as we loved spending four great days at the track with all you folk
I guess the simple question is
THE LIST 5 ???
What’s the thoughts of those who raced at them or spectated
Is there a bunch of support to see some more events of these style

Shaping up to be an absolute cracker of a day
Current entry list update as of 11pm last night
Entries will be available at the gate on the day
If you are not racing will be a great day to come down and be a spectator with a bit of everything going down the track

Current entry list for September 7
Entries close midnight Thursday night

Have waited for the Motorplex to update The List results
Didn’t want to make them think we were treading on their toes
So here they are
Only one missing is the second car entry of Josh Iacob in power adder

Below is an add on to how the normal day goes
Those not in the shootout will still do their normal deal of line up and do as many passes as you can get in

$$$ $2000 $$$ Winner takes all
The List 4 Event
Here it is.
Fast 8 - 2 K Shootout
Radial or Small tyre cars only
The Quickest 8 cars at the track by 1 pm on the day
Will be invited into a 8 car winner takes all Elimination shootout
If anyone can’t make it or doesn’t want to their spot will be offered to the next Quickest car
So No Byes or Solo runs will occur in any round
Seeding - For the first and second round
Call outs will be asked for , if no call outs are made or taken up , seeding will be decided by hat draw
Lane Choice will be either part of call out negotiations or Coin toss
1st round (8) cars takes place at 2 pm
2nd round (4) cars at 3 pm
FINAL Winner takes all at 4pm
Finals lane choice will be by quickest cars call on coin toss
Who’s going to grab the $$$CASH$$$

Big shout out to Caversham plant hire who put up a large part of the prize money and W***y wonka who was once again generous enough to top up the prize money to 2k

Entries are now open
We will see another chance for someone to get the chance to walk away with some $$$CASH$$$
