Great effort also by Zac Jones and Kingsley Jones. While their final results don't show it, the pace was impressive!

Tech Tip!
The ever important IAME X30 Bendix nose bearing. If this fails on you, starting will become a problem!
As you always should between events, strip the chain guard, clutch drum and clutch off, remove the Bendix cover, and take out the Bendix. Clean everything up now take a look at the Bendix bearing in the case. Sometimes it fails if you don't keep things clean and greased!
If this bearing fails you will have starting issues. It may show up as,
• slow starting
• ring gear meshing noises
• hot starting button when you go to start
• hot wiring harness from time to time
Remember, at any event a scrutineer may ask you to start your engine via the starting system. External starters can't always save you.
Don't mess around, keep up your maintenance and the day at the track will be enjoyable!
Bendix bearings are always available from your local Kart shop or from Remo Racing.
