A little shout-out to our network for some help supporting one of our Future Female Leaders participants. 💜
For those who don’t know much about the program, Future Female Leaders is a six-month leadership program for Year 11 girls, designed to build confidence, leadership capability and connections while giving participants the opportunity to create their own social impact project.
One of our participants, who is just 16 years old, has chosen to focus her project on reducing clothing waste and encouraging people to think differently about what happens to the clothes we no longer wear.
As part of her project, she is running a community clothing market this Sunday and desperately needs clothing donations to help make it a success.
They’re looking for clothing of all genders and all sizes -so if you’ve been meaning to have a wardrobe clear-out, this is a lovely opportunity to give your clothes a second life while supporting a young person who is genuinely trying to make a difference. 👗👕👖
📍 Castle Street Community Hall, North Beach, Perth
📅 This Sunday
⏰ 12.30pm–3.00pm
If you have clothes you’d like to donate, please message us for more information.
And if you can’t donate, a share would also be hugely appreciated.
It takes a fair bit of courage at 16 to turn an idea into action, so we’d love to help her get as much community support behind this as possible. 💜

Smart strategy doesn’t just drive results- it protects your people.
Poorly executed strategy and organisational design don’t just hurt organisational performance, they create psychosocial hazards: excessive workload, role confusion, job stress, and burnout.
When strategy and structure are designed thoughtfully, they do more than drive growth-they protect your most precious asset-your people.
✅ Clear roles → less confusion
✅ Realistic goals → less stress
✅ Managed change → less burnout
✅ Balanced workloads → more wellbeing
At EHQ, we help organisations align strategy, structure, and people so they can flourish- safely. Because sustainable success comes from workplaces where people are clear, capable, and confident in what they do.
Whether you’re growing, consolidating or transforming - we’ll help you design smarter, safer organisations from the inside out.

✨ Welcome home, Leeuwin! ⚓
On Friday, EHQ joined the celebrations at Victoria Quay to welcome WA’s beloved tall ship, Leeuwin II, back to Fremantle, more than 14 months after she was catastrophically damaged by a container ship. Seeing her standing tall again after everything she’s been through was truly something special. 💙
A big thank you to Gauge Roads and Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation for hosting such a fantastic community event. The free ice cream, face painting, and mermaid meet-and-greets were a huge hit with the kids (and, let’s be honest, plenty of adults too!).
In September, we were honoured to attend a special reception at Government House hosted by His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson, Governor of Western Australia, and Mrs Darrilyn Dawson, celebrating Leeuwin’s progress and the unveiling of the Foundation’s refreshed corporate identity. Guests received a meaningful keepsake, a framed remnant of the ship’s upper topsail, a beautiful symbol of perseverance and new beginnings.
Leeuwin’s renewal has been powered by the unwavering dedication of its volunteers, crew, and supporters, and bolstered by a generous $3.5 million grant from the Minderoo Foundation in 2024 to ensure its long-term sustainability.
The Leeuwin isn’t just a ship; she’s a symbol of resilience, teamwork, and community spirit.
Over the past 10 months, EHQ has had the privilege of partnering with the incredible team at Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation, working with their CEO, leadership team, and board to bring structure, clarity, and a human-centred strategy to their transformation journey.
We’re proud to have played a small part in helping this iconic WA organisation navigate change and prepare for its next chapter of impact. Congratulations to the Leeuwin crew, volunteers, and community of supporters who’ve poured their hearts into bringing her back to life.
This ship truly changes lives, and soon she’ll be doing just that again when she returns to WA waters in early 2026.
If you haven’t explored what Leeuwin Ocean Adventure offers for young people, we can’t recommend it enough- it’s genuinely life-changing.

🎉 Exciting news- EHQ Coaching & Consulting is now a proud member of the MCCC Melville Cockburn Chamber of Commerce!
MCCC plays such an important role in connecting and supporting local businesses to grow, collaborate and thrive across the Melville and Cockburn region.
Being part of this network means more opportunities to:
🤝 Build meaningful relationships with local business owners
💡 Share ideas and expertise
🌱 Contribute to the growth and success of our local economy
Brad and Emily have been incredibly welcoming, and the events I’ve attended so far have been fun, engaging and genuinely valuable for business owners like me who are building organisations and navigating the ups and downs of SME life.
The most recent event, a Cyber Security briefing for organisations pursuing DISP membership, really highlighted how Defence readiness extends beyond tech and compliance. It’s about people, processes and culture too.
As more SMEs explore opportunities in the Defence industry, EHQ is here to help leaders build the capability, systems and culture to be truly Defence-ready.
If you’re a business in the Melville or Cockburn area, I’d highly recommend joining MCCC, it’s a brilliant way to connect, collaborate and contribute to our thriving local community.

🎉 Excited to share that EHQ Coaching & Consulting is now a proud member of Henderson Alliance!
Being based near Fremantle, it feels like a natural fit to connect with the incredible defence, defence-related and maritime businesses that are such a big part of our community.
At EHQ, our unique purpose is to enable a new kind of human-centred commerce. We’re all about demonstrating the link between human happiness with organisational productivity because when people thrive, so do businesses (and economies!).
Joining the Henderson Alliance feels like more than just a membership, it’s a chance to contribute to a community that’s shaping the future of our local economy. I’m really looking forward to being part of this dynamic network of SMEs, learning from others, sharing ideas, adding value wherever I can to the great work already happening.
