Whitford Junior Football Club would like to advise and invite all our members to the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM serves as an essential platform for our amazing football community to come together, reflect on our progress, and shape the direction of our club for the upcoming year. Your valuable input and participation are vital to the continued success of our club’s endeavours.
We believe that diversity in thought and skill is crucial to the development of our football club. If you are passionate about football, have innovative ideas, and are dedicated to contributing your time and expertise, we encourage you to consider joining the committee. In particular, we would love to have our parents from the Auskick and modified programs join us, as you are the future of our club.
Nominations are open for all management positions; nominations are to be forwarded to the Club Secretary via email at [email protected] before the Annual General Meeting, or follow the NOMINATE NOW button below. If only one written nomination is received for a particular role before the meeting, then that person is elected unopposed.
If an official role seems a little daunting, perhaps consider nominating yourself as a general committee member. Being a general committee member is a fantastic way to get involved, see how the committee runs and lend a hand when you can.
Ideally, we would like to have one representative from each team across all age groups attend this year’s AGM to ensure that the breadth of our membership is accurately represented.
