Big congratulations to this legendary Swanny Bronze group who have just achieved their Bronze Medallion!

We are looking forward to seeing them in their new red and yellows, between the flags, helping keep the community safe at the beach 🙌

💥🦸‍♂️Country Carnival 2026🦸‍♀️💥

Many thanks to Albany SLSC for hosting an amazing Fuel to Go & Play Country Carnival.  The return of Super Swanny meant we brought the carnival atmosphere in true Swanny style.  Our athletes competed exceptionally well with some incredible performances and results:

Presto - 1st in Masters Beach Flags, 1st in Open Beach Flags, 3rd in Masters Beach Sprint

Many more competitors made minor places/finals and it was amazing to see everyone giving it a go and cheering the team on.  The Boaties also made the A Grade finals despite having to make last minute team substitutions due to injury.  Following the carnival, Swanny dominated on the dancefloor at the Albany SLSC celebrations.  Massive thanks to the attendees, organisers, officials and all who contributed to such a successful event.

Swanny Youth Camp 2025 🤍🌊

From coasteering and surfing in Margaret River to team challenges, laughs and lifelong friendships — 32 Swanny youth created unforgettable memories at the SLSWA South West Development Centre from 5–7 December 2025.

A huge thank you to the Australian Government Volunteer Grants Program, whose support made this camp possible, and to our amazing youth members who helped fundraise to keep costs affordable.

So proud of our Swanny youth for the energy, teamwork and community spirit they brought all weekend 💪🏄‍♂️

Yesterday morning we stood shoulder to shoulder in silence, united with surf lifesavers and lifeguards across Australia.

We paused to honour those who lost their lives, those who risked everything to help others, and those deeply impacted by the recent events in Bondi.

🦀Swanny Woodside Nippers🦀

Our Swanny Woodside Nippers have had a strong start to the season. From a pool session to bright and early Sunday mornings on the beach, our Nippers have been smiling and ready to jump in the water.

There have been rumours around the Surf Club that a very jolly visitor may be stopping by this Sunday to spread some Christmas cheer!
