Most people work their way up slowly through the ranks of competitive sailing, but our sailors were all thrown in at the deep end. None of them imagined that a seemingly casual phone call from a friend would end with them signing up to participate in an

A fabulous end to the regata today. We began with a gloriously relaxed race to 2nd where everything seemed to come together and we were able to enjoy the entire race. We followed that up with a 4th, and ended with a tight race down the final leeward leg to third in front of the Swedish team. We finished in 5th place overall, just behind GBR B1, the only other B1 team in the regatta. After packing down the boats and celebrating the winners at the closing ceremony, we pent the evening consolidating friendships we had made over the week and winding down with some of the other sailors. So proud of the team and of what we have achieved this week. Thank so much to World Sailing and Oman Sail for putting on such an excellent event. Now for a well-deserved rest before spending the next couple of days exploring Oman.
Final tickets available! We have 6 tickets left with us in Oman, and we're double-checking numbers to see if we have any left in Perth.
$50 per ticket, prize $1000. Total number of tickets capped at 100, so you've got pretty good odds. Let us know if you want one!
