LEAP n2u Fitness is the place for 3rd Age Women's Fitness & Wellness coaching. I can help navigate the "after 40" years with more power and grace than the "20's". Life isn't over after 40, it's just becoming enlightened with the clarity of purpose and the wisdom of experience. This is the time when we start taking care of ourselves because we are through with messing around with the non sense. For

If December feels heavier than usual, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong.

Midlife bodies process stress, heat, sleep loss, and emotional load differently; and this season asks a lot.

I created The Midlife Holiday Survival Kit as a calm alternative to the chaos.

Short audios you can listen to while living your life, helping you stay grounded, clear, and steady when everything feels loud.

You don’t need more effort.
You need more support that fits this season.

Not everyone will appreciate me saying this, but…

Midlife bodies don’t necessarily respond well to pushing through an Aussie December.

The internal and external heat.
The extra expectations.
The added emotional labour.

This season exposes where you’ve been overfunctioning for years.

What’s your midlife body asking for this Christmas?

If everything feels louder and full of pressure lately, pause and check this:

Are your shoulders creeping up?
Is your jaw clenched without you realising?
Is your forehead tense?

Try these small steps to help bring regulation and attunement.

Lower your shoulders,
soften your jaw,
and relax your eyes.

These simple adjustments can send a powerful signal of safety to your nervous system.

15/12/2025

I’m not sure who needs to hear this today…
Feeling flat, reactive, or emotionally raw doesn’t mean you’re failing Christmas.
It means your body is asking for less stimulation and more support.

I bet you already know that getting off social media can do more for your mental health than ticking all the wellness boxes.

If you're in midlife, you remember a time before the constant barage of brain static.
you remember what it was like to just be;
Quiet
Connected
"Bored"
Immersed

What are we humans doing to ourselves and to the planet?

I think the human race is steering itself towards a systemic insanity while destroying the planet in the process.

The Times Person of the year exemplifies this.
The latest WH EO limiting regulations on AI so that reality becomes even more blurred is a prime example.

A quiet evening with my candles.
Each one of these holds a special significance in my heart.

This Holiday Season let me encourage you to take a step back into quiet reflection.

You don’t need more noise.

You don’t need Christmas countdowns, "BUY NOW" urgency, or pressure disguised as “deals.”

You don't need to pile it on yourself to make the Holiday Magic come true for everyone else.

If your nervous system needs softness this season, not sales…

The Midlife Holiday Survival Kit is here. It's a short audio series that helps you move through December feeling grounded and supported instead of overwhelmed.

the most healing thing a midlife woman can do.

Especially if burnout is creeping into the picture.

Out of that clarity, I created something simple for Aussie midlife women who feel they carry a lot this time of year and need to make a change.

The 'Midlife Holiday Survival Kit' Audio Series.
- For Aussie women
- 9 bite sized audios for peri and postmenopausal women who want to feel lighter, clearer, and steadier this hot 🔥 holiday season.

The new resident we are allowing to live behind our hallway sliding door. Currently named Hunter until further notice.

I wondered why the crickets under the fridge had gone so quiet 🤫🤣.

Tbh, I think I've adapted to this life a little;
snakes in the dining room and huntsmen in the hallway.
I still can't have a cockroach around though, even though I grew up in Texas.
And ocean lap swims inside the shark net only please.

We were taught to shrink our strength.
To quiet our bodies.
To move only within the lines,
to protect their servile ideas of what a woman should be - polite, perfect, obedient, contained.
And small.
But this?
This is how I break the mold.
Every rep, every breath, every stretch, every flex
is me taking back what was always mine.

Not all workouts are the same.
Some are grueling.
Some are based on bro science - right for men, and wrong for us.

But this one, this is an expression.
It’s how my body speaks her truth.
It’s how I listen back.

I move to remember my power.
To release the noise.
To rise in rhythm with myself.

Because strength isn’t about control,
it’s about connection.

And movement, when it’s aligned, becomes your voice.

This is how I live;
Fit. Fierce. Free.

Strength is sacred.
And this is mine.

You don’t have to shrink to be strong.
You don’t have to earn your rest.
You don’t have to prove your worth.
You just have to move —
like your body remembers who it is.
