Murph is done for another year! πͺ
For those who don't know, Murph is named after Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, a US Navy SEAL who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005. It was his favourite workout. He called it "Body Armour." After he passed, the CrossFit community adopted it as a tribute, and it's been done every Memorial Day ever since. We completed ours yesterday.
1 mile run.
100 pull ups.
200 push ups.
300 air squats.
1 mile run.
(9kg weight vest)
We do it because it's bigger than a workout. It's a reminder that the hard stuff is worth doing, that showing up for each other matters, and that we're part of something well beyond these four walls.
Our team came in yesterday and gave everything they had.
That's all we ever ask. π©΅

From the CrossFit Open, through Quarterfinals, through Semis, and all the way to the biggest sanctional event in the country. Congratulations to Cameron Johnson, Torian Pro 2026 athelte who placed 5th on debut. πͺ
We honestly don't have the words.
This journey started long before Brisbane. It started with a teenager learning his first deadlift with Courtney Eddleston in our youth program, and it's been building ever since. To watch him walk out onto that floor this weekend was something none of us will forget in a hurry.
Big thank you to Shane Elliott, our head coach, who supported Cam through every training block, every programming decision, and every hard conversation along the way. To Matt Teasdale, our physio, who did an incredible job keeping him together across what was a long and demanding weekend. To Lindsey Johnson, Cam's mum and one of our brilliant coaches, who has shown up for him in every way imaginable. To everyone who was part of the Get Cam to Torian fundraiser. To everyone who sat in the gym all day watching from then home turf. To everyone watching and cheering on from home. To every fist bump along the way. To everyone who made the trip across the country to be in that crowd and cheer him on in person.
You are all part of this result. π©΅
We are so humbled by how far this man has come, and so excited about where this beautiful sport and methodology will take him next.

One of our own is on the big stage this weekend! πͺ
Cameron Johnson, 17, is competing at Torian Pro in Queensland today through Sunday. If you haven't heard of Torian Pro, it's one of the most prestigious CrossFit Sanctional events in the country. Invite only, elite field, and Cam has absolutely earned his place in it.
Cam started in our Teens Program at 14. Three years of showing up, putting in the work, and quietly becoming one of the most exciting young athletes in WA. π
Here's when to tune in (all times Perth):
Friday 22nd | Event 1: 9.10am | Event 2: 1.10pm
Saturday 23rd | Event 3: 8.50am | Event 4: 2.10pm
Sunday 24th | Event 5 Final: 12.15pm

Our Teens Program gives them the space to prove it.
Every weekday from 4.30pm to 5.30pm, young athletes like Roxy are getting stronger, moving better, and building the kind of confidence you can't teach in a classroom.
