Today I was working on presentation for the upcoming Productivity Workshop with .
My life is messy at the moment. The house renovation is full on, working with clients takes a lot of time and energy. Honestly, I'm very tight with time.
In situations like this is so easy to step away from commitments because life feels hectic and out of control.
So, how do I deal with situations like this?
Just for FYI I planned the renovation to be finished by November. However, things didn't go by plan (things were out of my control).
I put myself first. By that I mean that I get up at 5 am and work on the workshop content from 6:30 am - 8:30 am, then I work with clients and from 5 pm onwards on the house reno until 9 pm.
I like keeping promises and I hate letting people down. By honouring my promises I feel good about myself and my work relationships thrive.
How do you deal with unpredictable situations?

Sometimes we don't have an office. Sometimes we work at a cubic desk.
Sometimes we work at a co-working space.
No matter what our current work environment looks like, there's always an opportunity to make it prettier.
Right now I'm renovating the house and my workspace is a camping desk and a computer 💻. That's all.
I bring small pleasures to my work environment by listening 🎧 to work music 🎶 for increased focus, lighting a vanilla candle 🕯️, sitting on a very comfy chair 💺 and drink heavenly good ginger tea with lemon 🍋 from a cup 🍵 that I love.
All that brings me joy.
That's how you can elevate your workspace no matter how dull it feels.

What do you do when you're tired? I used to push myself to get through the exhaustion by drinking lots of coffee. But gallons of coffee haven’t really worked for me. So then, I would beat myself up for being tired. That hasn't worked either.
But now I know better.
Last Friday, I was in the menstrual cycle (time for review, rest and recharge), and I was exhausted.
Do you know what I did?
I indulged myself in being in bed almost all day. I took a few naps, read a book and my hubby and I watched a comedy in the evening. I love comedies.
IT FELT SOOO GOOOD!
On Saturday morning, I was up at 6 am full of energy, motivated, happy and most importantly, well-rested. That's when the magic happens. The magic happens when you honour your needs first and listen to your higher self.

Many coaches say that they don't judge! But is that true?
They might not judge you out loud but still judge you in their heads.
Judgement is an energy that separate us. It drains us. It's an ego's attempt to feel better about ourselves.
We're all judgemental. The difference between more judgemental people and less judgemental people is in recognising their judgement. Do they believe in their thoughts or they question them?
When we judge people and circumstances that we can't control we lose our power. We spent a lot of energy fixing or criticising what can't be fixed.
It's draining. It make us feel helpless. It's make us feel frustrated. We lose our precious energy that otherwise could be directed into joy, creativity, productivity and new ideas.
What can we do differently? How can we focus on what we can control?
I always put myself into other people's shoes. It helps to understand them better (not agree with them) and feel compassion for them.
I always look at the situation that I can't control from different angles. I focus on what I can control. I can control my thoughts, how I respond to things, how often I'm in the present moment and not in my ego's stories.

Walking in my garden in the morning and being in the present moment brings me inner peace. 🕊️ It feels so good.
We deserve to feel good.
You deserve to feel good. ❤️💕
When we listen to our intuition and higher self we create life that brings us joy and happiness. ✨💖
We start enjoying our journey. We stop believing in suffer now, enjoy later. 🤗
We're less attached to the outcome of our goals. Our priority become taking care of our mental and physical well-being.
Miraculously everything changes. We are less stressed, less overwhelmed, more rested, more motivated, more productive, we accomplish more and we enjoy our life. 💖✨💕❤️

I have 2 speaking engagements coming up + one workshop. 🤗
I've found myself thinking, "What the audience wants to hear from me? What they expect me to say?"
These two thoughts 💭 made me feel overwhelmed because I have no idea what they expect from me. I was procrastinating on preparing the speeches because I didn't know what SHOULD I say. It also showed me that I slipped back into my people pleasing pattern. 🥺
People pleasing feels draining and powerless. It says I'm not good enough as.I am. What I have to say doesn't matter. People pleasing is trauma response. We please people in order to feel accepted and loved. Therefore, we betray ourselves. 🥺🤔
When I realised my thinking 🤔 I reframed it immediately - "What do I want them to know? What's one key takeaway that they can apply immediately?" 💪👏
I felt back in control, powerful and empowered immediately. ✨💖
Preparing speeches become effortless and exciting. I was able to tap into my zone of genius. I felt empowered to share what I wanted to share. ✨💖💕

I'm doing my weekly and monthly review. ❤️💖
One thing that most of us forget to do is to reflect back and tweak things. We forget to celebrate 🥂 our success and learn from 'failures'. ✨
There's no such thing as a failure. We either succeed or learn. 💪🤗👏
I've noticed that I still have a tendency to put too many things on my plate, such as: post on social media every day, meditate 🧘♀️ visualise, workout ⛹️♀️, do breathing exercises 🫁 cold showers 🚿 cook, clean, take time for fun every day, network, work with clients, etc.
When I wrote down what I should do every day and how much time I spent on each task I realised that it sums up more than 24 hours. 😆😂
Crazy right?
And I looked into more productivity tips to fit all into my busy schedule. 😂😆
That's insane!
What if we stop and take a break?
What if we stop measuring our worth by how much we have accomplished in a day?
What if we stop fitting more things on our already breathlessly long to do list?
What if we wipe clean our schedules and put on what feels good? How would that look like for you?
It's time to do the inner work and see why you're rushing around all day? What causes you to suffer from Rushing Woman 👠 Syndrome?
When we start honouring ourselves and our wellbeing we start setting healthy boundaries and we're okay with not getting everything done ✅.
The truth is you'll never cross ❌ off all the things on your to-do list. It's not possible in our culture that forces us to be more, do more, achieve more. 🤗💕
One way to start getting off this crazy busy train 🚂 is to start pruning your to do list, make time to do weekly and monthly reviews and listening to your intuition.

I started running again. Last year I stopped running due to severe thyroid issues and being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.
Doctors said I'll will be on medications for the rest of my life and that I can expect getting cancer and other autoimmune diseases. 🥺
I didn't believe them. I knew there's a way to be healed. 💪
Fast forward 12 months. I'm healthy, strong, full of energy and 9 months meds free. ✨💖💕🎉
No matter what are you facing right now trust yourself and your judgement. Do what feels right for you.
Stop following rigid training schedule.
Stop fixing yourself.
Stop listening to other people what you should do and what you shouldn't do.
Stop putting more things on your schedule and then looking for magic productivity tips and tricks to juggle 1001 commitment.
Instead....
Relax.
Prune.
Set healthy boundaries.
Take care of you mind and body.
Do what feels good in your body.
Bring more joy and fun into your life.

I genuinely believe that we don't have enough fun in our lives.
We're so busy doing all the things on our to-do list that even the thought of doing something unrelated to our to-do list creates stress.

Lately, I was thinking a lot about how I want to live, what are my desires and what I tolerate.
I was also journaling a lot because journaling helps me sort my thoughts and get those important "aha moments".
What I realised was that we often don't follow our heart desires. Every day, we're so busy making sure that we tick all the boxes on our to-do list that we forget to stop, pause, and check if we're still going in the right direction.
