A parkrun a week keeps our spirits at peak. Come rain or shine, that finish line feels just fine!

All set for tomorrow morning. Predicted weather a bit on the chilly side at 12 degrees, light breeze of 8km/h from the west and a good chance of some light rain.

Please let me know of any upcoming milestones.

Look forward to seeing you in the morning.

Another perfect way to start a weekend.
Well done to all 150 participants that finished the 5km. Special shout out to the 6 first timers and 15 runners from other park runs.
The results have been e-mailed to you and you can take a look here too.
As we all know parkrun cannot happen without our hi-vis heroes. Thank you to my team of 11 that assisted me today. We have 10 weeks and 11 park runs until this year is over. If you want to take a look at the future volunteer roster and help us get to the end of 2026. https://www.parkrun.com.au/aveley/futureroster/

The next post is not shouting at anyone but rather a reminder.
Aveley parkrun - 7 Nov 2026. CANCELLED please find another park run to do or have a sleep in and enjoy the Aveley community fair.

There has again been a few lost items. Earpod holder, running jumper, and a little blue "what appears like a kids calming device". If any of these items belong to you please message us.

Photos will be uploaded during the day.

Have a great weekend 🙃
