The last few days of my 20s and I've been hit so hard with some life changing news and my world as I knew it has been turned upside down.
It's funny how life happens sometimes. I always say life happens for you, not to you. But sometimes bad things happen and we don't know why, how or why we deserve the things we are faced with. But focusing on putting your energy into staying strong and positive is all you can do if you want the best outcome.
S**t is going to get real for me next week as I head into the unknown. I thought child birth would be the hardest thing I will ever go through but this definitely takes the cake.
Spending the last few days of my 20s doing the things I enjoy, training hard and getting ready to party my ass off on Saturday. As I say goodbye to my 20s and embark on this new journey that will hopefully make me stronger then ever when I'm out on the otherside of it all.
Please live your life to the fullest, cherish those around you. Because life change can change in the blink of an eye.

💣PROTEIN BISCOFF CREPES💣
These are a must try!!
So delicious yet simple, quick and easy to make. These crepes are the perfect start to the day and make hitting your protein goals a breeze🤝🏽
Having good nutrition doesn’t have to be bland or boring and these crepes are just another example of that and I’m here for it🙌🏼
Ingredients:
▪️50g flour
▪️20g .ausnz protein powder in vanilla ice cream flavour
▪️125ml unsweetened almond milk
▪️1 egg
▪️15g biscoff spread
▪️Sugar free maple syrup
▪️Small amount of butter to prevent sticking to pan if needed.
Method:
▪️Mix your flour, protein powder, almond milk and egg in a bowl until smooth
▪️Grease your pan on low heat
▪️Pour in enough of your mixture to make one crepe. Once you’ve poured it in, be quick to move the pan around to distribute the mixture evenly around the pan so it’s nice and thin. But not too thin that it breaks apart.
▪️Cook until you see bubbles start form and flip. Cook until golden on the other side.
▪️In a separate bowl zap your biscoff in microwave for 30s or until melted.
▪️Assemble your crepes on a plate. Add sugar free maple syrup, followed by drizzling your melted biscoff on top.
Serve and ENJOY😋

🫶🏼THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE STARTING MY HEALTH AND FITNESS JOURNEY🫶🏼
▪️Being sore does not equal a good workout
▪️Food is fuel, not the enemy
▪️Rest, Recovery and sleep are just as important as your training
▪️Following a structured program with progressive overload will be more effective for body composition goals, opposed to changing it up every session
▪️Lifting heavy will not make women bulky
▪️Basic movements are superior!
▪️Don’t over complicate things. Simplicity is key to sustainability and results
▪️4-5 days of efficient training is more effective and sustainable in the long run compared to trying to train everyday. Training everyday will only lead to injury and burn out.
▪️You can’t out train a bad diet
▪️Proper technique over ego lifting
▪️Don’t compare yourself to others, we all start somewhere and we are all on our own journeys
▪️Don’t believe everything you see and hear on social media from people who arnt even qualified to be giving health and fitness advice.
I could honestly keep going with this list, but those a few of my key points for any beginners starting out or anyone on their health and fitness journey who may feel a little lost with what they should be doing.

🌱GREEN GOODNESS BOWL🌱
If you need quick, easy and simple yet delicious&nutritious lunch or dinner ideas this recipe is for you✔️
This is my go to lunch🐐
With minimal ingredients but major nutritional goodness. This meal ticks all the boxes containing good sources of lean protein, carbs and veggies🙌🏼
You’ll need:
🌱200g white potatoes
🌱150g frozen broccoli, green beans, corn & peas
🌱x2 small tins tuna (140g)
🌱10g pestonaise (Coles brand)
🌱Mixed herbs
🌱Garlic salt
Method:
▪️Cook your potatoes in salted water until soft
▪️Defrost veggies
▪️Drain oil from tuna tins
▪️Add potatoes, veggies and tuna to a bowl
▪️Add your pestonaise, herbs and garlic salt. Mix well and enjoy!

I like to cook up a batch of potatoes at the start of the week so they are on hand ready to go for my meals. I also like to use spud lite potatoes sometimes for more volume.

⚡️OFFICIALLY BACK AT IT⚡️
After such an amazing break spent with family and friends I’m super pumped and excited to get stuck into coaching again and kick start the year!! I am so ready to smash 2023 and I hope you all are too😉
It was really important to me to have a break from my phone, work and social media over the holidays. So I did abit of a phone/work detox so I could really enjoy being in the moment and present with my family. So if anyone has messaged me over the break and I haven’t replied, I will be returning all coaching enquiries this week.
However I’m excited to be back on socials and bring you more motivational, inspirational and knowledgeable content in 2023.
