It's been a long time between drinks!
The last time Balga SC played in State League Division One was way back in 1997.
A lot has changed since then...
β½οΈ Australia's World Cup dream ended in heartbreaking fashion against Iran.
πΊ Friends and Blue Heelers were dominating our TV screens.
ποΈ John Howard was Prime Minister.
But one thing hasn't changed - the ambition at Balga.
Our coaches and players are determined to get the Black & Greens back to Division One. But we know it won't be easy.
π₯ It starts with two tough games against Subiaco AFC in the promotion play-off semi-finals.
The first leg is this Saturday at Rosalie Park, with kick-off at 3:00pm.

Get to Rosalie Park, bring your family and mates, wear your Black & Green and get behind Amir, Jimmy and the boys as we take the first step towards Division One.
Then it's back to Princess Road Reserve the following Saturday for the second leg.

The Black & Greens head to Rosalie Park for the first leg of our promotion play-off semi-final against Subiaco AFC

Balga now begins the quest to return to State League Division One for the first time since 1997.
Our semi-final opponents will be Subiaco AFC, with the tie to be played over two legs across the next two weeks.
Weβll confirm the dates and times as soon as they are officially confirmed by Football West.
Two games stand between us and the final.

WHAT A DAY AT PRINCESS ROAD RESERVE!
The Black & Greens have secured their place in the State League Division Two promotion play-offs after an incredible 2-1 victory over Wembley Downs in front of a huge crowdπ₯
Wembley Downs struck first, but our boys showed tremendous character to fight their way back.

The final whistle confirmed the win and a place in the play-offs!

With a large crowd expected for today's huge game, our usual match day parking at the club is likely to fill up early.
π Extra parking will be available on the grassed area, that can be accessed from the main game day car park.
If that also becomes full, there are also several other parking options within a short walking distance of Princess Road Reserve:
π Balga Cricket Club - access of Wallington Road
π Binya Park Playground - just south of the ground, which can be accessed via Princess Road.
π Car park off Camberwell Road
π« PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT PARK AT THE BALGA COMMUNITY CENTRE next to the Camberwell Road car park. This area is NOT available for match day parking.
