🌟 Senior Club Person of the Year 2025/2026 🌟

It goes without saying that our club runs on the dedication of so many incredible people — from lining the diamonds each week, to running the canteen, coaching teams, managing socials, and everything in between. Your time and effort never go unnoticed 💙

This year’s award recognises not just one… but two outstanding individuals who have gone above and beyond in every way.

From helping deliver one of our most smoothly run pre-states carnivals (with fantastic feedback from visiting clubs 👏), to managing both a State Championships team and a Saturday competition team, and always stepping up wherever help was needed — their commitment has been nothing short of amazing.

It was simply too close to choose between them…

🌟 Junior Club Person of the Year 2025/2026 🌟

A very special thank you to all of our incredible junior volunteers who lend a hand across the Club each season — siblings, friends, and players who step up whenever needed. Every bit of help makes a difference, and we appreciate you all! 💙

This year’s award goes to someone who has truly gone above and beyond…

From regularly helping in the canteen, packing up equipment week after week, to proudly representing the club at the Natasha Bakranich All Girls Carnival and the TBAWA State Championships — her commitment has been outstanding.

At our own pre-state carnival, she didn’t just play her games… she also helped in the canteen, supported the information desk, and even stepped in for a missing player in the TBAWA Supersquad! 🙌

An amazing effort all round!

What a season of standout defence and unstoppable effort! 🙌

From start to finish, she brought consistent, high-quality fielding that turned into some incredible game-day highlights:
⚾ Turning a full inning into her own showcase with all 3 outs at second base
⚾ Pulling off an amazing double play as catcher—tagging the batter, then diving across the plate to stop a runner home
⚾ Dominating the outfield with smart positioning, backing up bases, hitting her cuts, and always throwing ahead of the runner

No matter where she’s placed—infielder or outfielder—she takes ownership and gives it her all every single time 💪

But it’s not just her skill that shines… her constant encouragement and positivity lift the whole team ❤️

What a moment to remember!

During the State Carnival, George pulled off an incredible overhead catch behind him, landing flat on his back to secure the out… but he wasn’t done there! In one swift move, he jumped straight back up and tagged first base to complete an amazing double play 🙌

Skill, determination, and quick thinking all in one play — pure magic!

Mason showed that baseball is about more than just the game—it’s about teamwork and heart.

Before a game, he quietly told his mum that if he batted after a certain teammate, he’d make sure to hit the ball so they could reach second base—knowing they don’t usually get past first.

A small moment, but a powerful reminder of what it means to support your teammates and play for each other. 💙⚾️

What a way to finish the season!

In the final game, Jack hit his very first home run—an incredible achievement in his first year of Teeball. ⚾️

While the home run was a standout moment, it truly reflects a full season of hard work, determination, and growth. Jack has consistently taken on every piece of advice from his coaches, both with the Wasps and the U13 State Team, and this moment was the perfect reward for his effort.

A fantastic milestone and a moment to be proud of—well done, Jack!
