Our Thursday class was an exploration into Henka Waza, flowing from one technique to another, identifying if atemi enhanced or broke the flow. Overall a very enjoyable class with plenty of smiles. Well done everyone, keep enjoying the journey.

Great training today, and very nice to have visiting student Aidan Sit come all the way north to train with us and to have our new students Michael, Trevor, Elliot and Leo join us on the mats. We are also excited to show you our new signage once installed.

Congratulations to all our our students who graded over the past few weeks and for your technique demonstrations today at the belt ceremony. Your Sensei's are all very proud of your effort and dedication. Keep training and keep learning. And remember the skills and lessons you learn in the dojo extend to more than just self defence and martial arts. Many of the teachings can be applied to everything we do in life. If you go head on at a problem, sometimes it can be made worse, whereas if you step of line and redirect the energy, you might just find a better way to resolve it.
