INDOOR PICKLEBALL PROGRAMME: JOIN NOW!

Following a very successful trial, the Board has approved continuation of the Club’s pickleball programme for the rest of this year, and beyond.

This means you now have another opportunity to join the group. Beginners and experienced players are welcome.

Members pay just $5.00, and non-members pay $10.00 per 2-hour session.

Games are played on Mondays from 1.00pm to 3.00pm on the beautiful, air-conditioned indoor courts at the adjacent Blue Gum Community Centre (previously known as the Rec. Centre). Paddles are available to anyone who doesn’t have their own.

The sport is a lot of fun, sharpens up your reflexes, improves your footwork, and enhances your volleying and other tennis shots. Because of capacity limitations, the number of players is limited, so register your interest now by emailing your name and telephone number to Bill Thomas [email protected]

If you wish to find out more, please ring Bill on 0418 824 223.

📣 Congratulations Pam! Tennis West Volunteer of the Month 🎾

"Since joining in 2005 alongside her husband Kevin, she has given nearly two decades of continuous service, offering her time, energy and care in ways that extend far beyond any formal role.

Whether it is preparing for a busy event, lending a hand in the kitchen, or stepping in wherever needed, Pam approaches every task with a sense of purpose that rarely goes unnoticed."

👏👏👏

There are volunteers who help out when needed, and then there are people like Pam Muir, whose presence quietly shapes the heart and soul of a club 👏

Thank you and congratulations to Pam Muir on being recognised at this months Volunteer of the Month ❤️

Enrollments are high this term. Out of the dozens of kids on the court, 3-4 parents have stayed to watch and catch up 🤣

20/01/2026

John, Colin and other team members of the resident ‘Blue Gum Nuts’ were hard at work this early this morning to get the job done before the heat set it. The improvements are near completion and looking fab. Great work team!
