Jollettes Gymnastics Wembley Downs

Over 13 years ago, these little children started at the Wembley Downs location. We have seen many more children from the local area move through the AirFloor program (one of its kind in Western Australia) and at one stage seeing over 100 children in an afternoon, that's a lot of children in the small undercover area :)

To everyone who has taking part, coached, volunteered, or sat and watched we “Thank You”. Without your loyal support the program would not have been as successful as it has been.

A huge appreciation goes to Wembley Downs Primary School for allowing Jollettes Gymnastics to dominate the undercover area for so many years, filling the storeroom with mats and other gymnastic equipment and sneaking in early to set-up and stay late to work with the Development Squad teams.

Sadly, the time came yesterday to say goodbye and depart the area, so from now on the weekly shouts of “Keep Smiling” will no longer be heard throughout the neighbourhood. Please treasure those words and keep Jollettes somewhere in your heart.

Dear Parents & Gymnasts

I personally regret to inform you of some sad news regarding the Wembley Downs location. After 13 years of running classes at the Wembley Downs Primary School, Jollettes Gymnastics will close. The last session being Monday the 19th of September 2022 where both classes will combine from 3:40pm to 4:30pm for the Bring-a-Friend session.

The closure is due to personal reasons and was an extremely hard decision on my part to undertake. There have been many challenges over the last couple of years however the commitment and loyalty from the parents has not gone unnoticed and for this I Thank You.

My heart goes out to those gymnasts who are eager to continue their Jollettes Gymnastics experience however they could continue their gymnastics journey at another organization, please contact Gymnastics WA for further information.

On behalf of the team at Jollettes Gymnastics Wembley Downs I would like to thank you once again for your loyal support and for making us a part of your lives. We will miss the gymnasts and their wonderful bright smiles they bring in each week.

Please understand there is a server weather warning for tomorrow Monday 1st August. The venue we use can be very unpleasant in strong NWN winds. I will inform all members if the Wembley downs gymnastic classes will or will not go ahead by midday tomorrow 👍

It's Teddy Bear Day at Wembley Downs this week, Monday 30th May.
Bring your favourite soft toy to do a fun filled session of gymnastics :)

For the safety of our members and staff the classes this afternoon at Wembley Downs have been cancelled. This is due to the Weather Alert for this afternoon and the high possibility of damaging winds which can be very unpleasant and unsafe in the undercover area where gymnastics classes are held.
We look forward to seeing everyone next week for "Teddy Bear Day" :)

Please understand with COVID-19 (Omicron) increasing in our community, Jollettes Gymnastics will endeavour to continue to run classes even with minimal staff.
If or when we do need to cancel gymnastics classes we will aim to contact members as soon as possible via the Jollettes Gymnastics Location page or text message.
This will be a challenging time for everyone, please understand we will need patience and understand while we navigate our way through this next stage of the pandemic.
