🎾 What an unforgettable three days on the red clay…

The 2025 UWA Clay Court Junior Slide was everything we hoped for — and more. From the very first rally, the courts were alive with energy, determination and pure love of the game.

We welcomed an incredible mix of junior players from near and far, including special guests from ActiveSG Tennis Academy — Singapore’s national sports organisation that develops and supports high-performance athletes across multiple sports. Having them join us on court was truly special and added an international flavour to the event.

Alongside them were players visiting from NSW, Christmas Island, Germany and Zimbabwe, as well as our local tennis community, all eager to experience and compete on the only European red clay courts in Western Australia. The diversity, sportsmanship and friendships formed over the three days were something truly special to witness.

It wasn’t just about competition — it was about learning, growth and fun. From long rallies and sliding skills to laughs off court, the atmosphere was outstanding from start to finish.

A heartfelt thank you to the Sharper Tennis team for their tireless work, UWA Sport for presenting an inspiring UWA Elite Athlete Program workshop, and Tennis West for their continued support in making this event possible.

We’re already counting down to next year’s UWA Clay Court Junior Slide — and we can’t wait to do it all again. ❤️🎾
