As the boys will be hunting some big wins this Saturday at the Showgrounds, the teams will be training hard Thursday night to secure a spot and clean up before the big day.

Get down and support the boys at training and selections.

Bar will open, finals footy will be on and dinner will be hot ready for purchase. Let’s fill the room before our beloved Thursday nights come to an end!

200 GAMES FOR HIRDY 🦘

And for our final milestone for today, we celebrate James “Hirdy” Duyvestyn as runs out for his 200th game in the black and white! 🖤🤍

Hirdy’s journey with the Roos began back in 2015 as a C**t, and it didn’t take long for success to follow. In 2016, he was part of a C**ts side that claimed the Minor Premiership, before going one better in 2017, helping bring home the Premiership as Vice Captain. 🏆

From there, Hirdy established himself as a pillar of our League side, becoming a formidable Full Back and one of the club’s most respected leaders.

After taking over as Club Captain a few years after his C**ts career, Hirdy led from the front and played a starring role in the 2022 League Premiership. In a performance that will live long in the memory, he was awarded the Best on Ground Medal in the Grand Final. 🥇🏆

In 2024, Hirdy took on another huge responsibility, becoming Club Coach while continuing his playing career — a testament to his commitment to the Roos and his desire to see the club succeed both on and off the field.

Now, in his 200th game, Hirdy has another opportunity to add to his incredible list of achievements, as he and the Roos look to secure his third Premiership this year. 🏆🦘

From C**t to Premiership Vice Captain, League Full Back, Club Captain, BOG medallist and Club Coach — 200 games is an incredible achievement for a true Wanneroo great.

100 GAMES FOR JAYDEN CRANE 🦘

This weekend, we celebrate another massive milestone, with current club captain Jayden Crane set to play his 100th game in the black and white! 🖤🤍

Jayden’s journey has been one of incredible achievement. Originally starting his career at Subiaco, Jayden made the move to the Roos and quickly made his mark, playing in a League premiership at just 19 years of age. 🏆

Since then, he has continued to establish himself as one of the club’s premier players, taking home the Club Champion in 2023 before adding the League Best & Fairest to his accolades in 2025. 🥇

Now, Jayden leads from the front as our Club Captain, while also taking on the role of C**ts Coach — continuing to give back to the club and help develop the next generation of Roos.

From premiership glory to individual honours, and now leading the club both on and off the field, 100 games is a fitting milestone for a player who has given so much to the Roos.

Congratulations on 100 games, Jayden! 👏

100 GAMES FOR LUKE WARREN 🦘

For the first of our celebrations this weekend, we celebrate a massive milestone as Luke Warren runs out for his 100th game in the black and white! 🖤🤍

Luke is the ultimate teammate — a player whose career has always been defined by putting the team first and doing whatever it takes for team success.

A reliable back pocket, Luke has been part of the Roos since making his C**ts debut in 2019. That first season kicked off an incredible run, featuring three straight Grand Finals in 2020, 2021 and then a Reserves Grand Final appearance in 2022.

Now running around with the Thirds, Luke has his sights firmly set on one thing — helping the team bring home his first premiership flag with the Roos. 🏆

100 games is a huge achievement, Luke. Congratulations and well deserved! 👏

2ND COLTS ROO-SULTS 🦘

Unfortunately, our Second C**ts’ finals campaign has come to an end, going down to Scarborough 27–95 in yesterday’s Elimination Final.

A disappointing result, but plenty to be proud of from this group. The boys have put in the work all season and earned their spot in September — yesterday just wasn’t our day. With a lot of young men still with many years of growth in our colts system, the future is bright at our club.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported the boys throughout the season. Your support never goes unnoticed. Congratulations to Tom Ray in his first season of coaching. 🖤🤍

To our 2nd C**ts — hold your heads high. We’re proud of you. 🦘
