ROUND 7 ROO-SULTS 🦘

Another massive weekend for the Roo Train with some huge performances across the club and plenty of black and white dominance on display πŸ’ͺ

Our League side got the job done in a tough contest against Quinns, running out 69–45 winners to keep building momentum. The Reserves were simply unstoppable, piling on 18 goals in a crushing 120–6 victory, while the Colts continued their red-hot form with a dominant 123–15 win πŸ”₯

The Thirds delivered one of the performances of the round with an incredible 160–4 demolition, and the Fourths collected the points via forfeit.

Our Women’s side battled hard against Whitford and the Integrated side showed plenty of fight in their clash with Warnbro.

Another strong week for the Roos with 5 wins from 7 and some serious scoreboard pressure across the grades πŸ‘

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped made yesterday’s Horse Racing Night a success!

National volunteer appreciation week!

This week we celebrate the incredible heart, soul and backbone of our club … WAFC volunteers. Without you, our club simply would not run.

To our committee members, coaches, runners, water runners, bar helpers and everyone behind the scenes, thank you for the countless hours, hard work and care you put into keeping our club running and our players supported.

Your dedication creates a club that people are proud to be part of, both on and off the field. From game days to the work no one sees behind the scenes, every contribution matters and never goes unnoticed.

We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for everything you do for our club and community. 🀍

ROUND 6 ROO-SULTS 🦘

Another strong weekend for the Roo Train with 5 wins from 8 across the club and some massive performances in every grade πŸ’ͺ

The league team kept rolling their unbeaten form, despite a late comeback from Kwinana. Our Reserves were outstanding, producing a dominant 141–6 victory over Kwinana in one of the biggest wins of the season so far. The Colts also continued their impressive form with a big 106–33 win, while the Thirds got the job done against North Beach with a strong four-quarter effort.

The women’s lost in a tight contest only going down by one goal.

The 2nd Colts held off Ellenbrook in a competitive clash to secure another valuable win for the Roos.

Although the Fourths and Integrated sides didn’t come away with the result this week, the effort and commitment across both teams never dropped and the support around the club continues to be something special.

A huge thank you once again to our volunteers, supporters and sponsors who continue to back the Roo Train every single week. Your support helps drive the culture and community that makes this club so strong πŸ–€πŸ€
