The Kermits finals campaign is over at the hands of a tough Ocean Beef lineup on Wednesday night. The scores finished up at 8-4 to the beef with the game being neck and neck until the last 5 minutes where beef converted consecutive goals to seal the game. The Kermits finished the season in 5th place on the ladder with 10 wins and 2 losses on the board.
Cheers to Travis Stribley for helping the Kermits out in the finals.
Let's get frothy at hockeyfest.
The Kermits have made it through to the second round of finals and now take on Ocean Beef Street Roller Hockey Club this Wednesday night at the Bayswater Slab.
Here's three reasons to support the Kermits over the Beef.
1. Goose is a dog
2. We're from south of the river

The Kermits came up against new boys from
the south the K-town Cooks last weekend and brought up their second W for the season.
K-town came out firing harder than Benny Cousins with his glass barbie, putting away three first period and keeping the sloppy Kermits scoreless. The second period saw the Kermits finally hit the scoreboard with Matt, Lara and Dave all netting a goal, before a late breakaway goal and minor concussion from headbutting the wall maintained the K-town Cooks two goal buffer. The final period saw a seven goal revival to the Kermits to run away with the game. Goals to early season recruit Dawko as well as a first goal of the season to Jake saw the Kermits run over the Cooks. Eamonn cutting through the defence with some slick dangles to net a goal for himself, and a goal to Tim in the final thirty seconds saw everyone hit the scoreboard.
Game against the South Perth Shakas TBA
Final score:
Kermits 10
K-town Cooks 7
Another frothy afternoon of roller hockey awaits us with four games on tap this Sunday at Bicton Primary kicking off with the Kermits set to faceoff with Phil and his team of Mountie plebs, followed by the Bicton Goaltending Lords facing the Como Moco. Everybody's favourite Yewwing team the South Perth Shakas SRHC taking on Bicton Four 'n Twenty, and rounding off the afternoon with two new outfits the Como Cunstables playing against the Freopian Tubes. The Kermits are 0 for 2 in previous encounters with the Mounties, will that change Sunday? Come down and get around the action to find out.
Bring tins, Bring banter, Don't bring Paul.

The Kermits are back for season 2015b, and kicked it off Saturday arvo against the Bicton big dick swingers. The team in green looked the part early and took a quick lead with Dave and Eamonn finding the crates early on.
The Bicton imports from Zimbabwe managed to score some much needed back to back goals for them, before some clinical passing by the Kermits saw Matt jail a goal before the second period ended.
The final period saw Bicton come out firing hard with Dave's shins copping more hits than his tinder account, but some typical goal poaching by Tim and some big plays by Lara and Jake saw the Kermits hang on to win by three and start the season with a 100% win ratio.
Final score:
Kermits - 9
Bicton 420 - 6

The Kermits went head to head with postcode neighbours Chick Park on Sunday. It seemed the hockey gods were against us from the get go, arriving to find that we had been locked out of our home court. But not even a flimsy lock would wreck a good Sunday morning of roller hockey with the hacksaw bought into action.
The puck was final dropped and it was Luke and Lara that ran rampant in the first period giving the Kermits a nice buffer. The second period started much the same with Tim doing what he does best (stealing other people's goals), until chick park managed to hit the scoreboard and make their mark on the game. The third period saw a nice coast to coast goal from a seemingly unknown chick park player who possessed a rather luscious beard. The Kermits teamed up a few passes near the end of the game to add a few more silky goals to the tally and end the game on the high.
The win makes it three on the trot for the Kermits ending the season with a bit of form. Thanks as well to Chick Park for a great game
Final score:
Kermits 18-2 Chick Park
