Anyone selling a 6/71 or 8/71 blower ? Damage from the failed bearing on ours has taken a heap of metal off the rotor shaft and could be some time to repair or even junk now . Pm me if you have anything or even a blower for parts . Cheers

Anyone help with bearings/rebuild kit for a 6/71 The Blower Shop cast case and rotor , left rear bearing has failed .

Well what a weekend! After having some oil pressure issues during testing, due to a small oversight by myself, we ended up pulling the motor out and dropping it back to Moth Man Motorsport. We stripped it down Friday morning and, even though we caught the issue quick, I had hurt a conrod and the crank. Off to Harris Engines for conrod resize and Noztec for a crank grind. Friday 4pm got the bits back and stopped by Chris Mills Performance for some gaskets etc. Then the build began again with the expert Moth on the job, not letting me rush anything and rechecking everything as we built it. Then came midnight and I loaded up and drove to Chris McGeough to fit it into the Ute, 4am I stopped for some sleep. 7:30 am Saturday back at it with Moth coming to help lift the blower on and do a valve set while I finished plumbing it all up. Fired up around lunch time and loaded up for Narrogin Revheads and the West OZ Burnout Series. When I arrived, had throttle hang up, so tried to adjust the linkage and snapped the throttle ball off! After a mad rush around asking for spares, Chad Douglas hooked me up with one, ripping it off YTG. Rylee and Owen got it back together for us, with help from a bunch of people, we finally got lined up for my first qualifier, messed up the tip in, but all in all, for the first time skidding the Ute, stoked with how it went! Unfortunately, after changing tyres and firing it back up, we had a bearing fail in the rear of the supercharger, meaning we missed our second qualifier run!
