Your life isn’t one-size-fits-all, so your training shouldn’t be either.

i 🤎 being a tourist in my old stomping ground 😅
fun fact i used to live with these crazy cats in Sydney back when I was 18
it was SUCH a fun weekend !!
i took time away from work and THATS OKAY
being a 24/7 1 man show is hard but at the end of the day … i’m human and we can’t be working all of the time
i honestly forgot how much i love Sydney
needed that weekend !!
however I’m VERY excited to be back into paradise today - see you soon girlies 🫶🏼

so you want to feel strong? 🤷♀️
strength is one of the hardest things to build but it is honestly THE MOST rewarding.
I completely understand that taking those first steps can be daunting - i’ve been there! The struggle to find the right training that you like, deciphering nutrition advice & dealing with self-doubt can be SO overwhelming
I work with women daily who want to ACTUALLY enjoy working out, help you stick to it and take stress away from “doing it all”
SO … here are ✨5✨ helpful tips for the girls who are beginning in the gym and want to feel lean, strong & confident:
⚡️Start with a Realistic Plan: Begin your fitness journey with something that you can stick to! if you haven’t done anything for months or even years how do you expect to suddenly be motivated to go every day. 2 decent days in the gym weekly is WAY better then 1 week of going every day but never coming back … consider working with a pt or using reputable fitness apps to create a plan tailored to you.
⚡️ Progressive Overload: To get stronger, you need to gradually increase the weight or resistance in your exercises. This progressive overload challenges your muscles and promotes growth. (& psa. weight training doesn’t make you bulky - TRUST ME)
⚡️ Compound Movements: Focus on exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench press and push press These engage multiple muscles and I believe should be the most important in your sessions. I track these lifts for my girls, making sure you are getting stronger.
⚡️Nutrition Matters: Fuel your body with a mix of protein, carbs and healthy fats. Proper nutrition supports muscle growth and overall strength. You can’t be eating like a rabbit - get some good food in and watch your strength SKYROCKET
⚡️ Rest and Recovery: rest is crucial. Muscles grow & repair during rest, so you need enough sleep & allow your body time to recover between workouts
Remember, consistency and ENJOYMENT is key. Progress may be gradual, but with dedication and patience, you'll become leaner, stronger, and more confident over time

a moment for my little slice of paradise please ✨😻
i honestly can’t fault this place… (okay maybe once the shark alarm went off so Julie and I wasted a couple minutes trying to spot the shark 😅but…. )
health and fitness should be FUN
get outside, get moving, add a few giggles - this is what it really is allllll about
you will feel amazing (and maybe a little sore)
most of my girls come to me because they need the accountability and push to move their body and achieve whatever unique and individualised goals they may have, they usually aren’t fans of the stinky, locked up inside gym and don’t know where to start on form, programming and all of those types of things. In paradise we are a holistic PT and look at the whole picture - creating a lifestyle that YOU LOVE where you honestly feel UNSTOPPABLE 🔥

end of a little era 😮
tomorrow will be my last day working out of Aspire - ill be moving to a new Scarborough space next week.
As much as this is very very exciting for me, I am so so so so grateful for every moment we’ve had at Aspire and it’s sad to be leaving.
From our sweaty workouts to epic events, this place has been the best…
I want to say a big thank you to Llyod and the rest of the trainers/team at Aspire for making the past 16 months so amazing. For opening up the space for Active By Teale and Lunar Love Club events - my experiennce hiring the space as a trainer and for events here was so amaizng. My clients and I have loved every strong and sweat-soaked minute. The space has been our playground for progress, fun and lots of giggles🤭🤭 At Aspire, we've smashed goals and made memories.
We will definitely miss the doggos, the post-session DogHouse coffee and the other friendly faces.
This place isn't just a gym… it really is a hub of positive energy and support. I’ve definitely grown alot and enjoyed being part of the team of trainers.
So here's a huge THANK YOU to Aspire for being more than a space, it's been a community that has definitely embraced the ABT girls.
On to new horizons, but with a heart full of gratitude.
I’ll tell you more about the exact new location but right now just thankful for Aspire and I’m sure a Wellness Morning will be back. 🤭

if you’ve been to a lunar event then you’ll know the atmosphere, vibe and energy of these mornings 🥰
whether you come by yourself (side note so proud of those girls who come solo!! chat to others and really be vulnerable- you are incredible) or you bring a group of your friends along, everyone has the best time !
there is something about bringing a group of incredible women together that really just sets my freaking heart on fire

✨3 things I learnt this month ✨ with some lil memories/pics from July
july you were a beautiful month …
2 massive things happened in July:
1. Mindful Moments Lunar Love Box was delivered 🤭 !!! this box and the portal were honestly the hardest i’ve ever worked on something since the very beginning of Active By Teale. My heart and soul went into every element 🥰
and obviously
2. The Wellness Weekend - honestly you’ve heard all of the heartwarming feedback and seen the pictures… it was INCREDIBLE 🤭 i’m sure we will be back before you know it
These are the things I learnt
1. always focus on the small magic moments ESPECIALLY when huge things are happening
- appreciate the people around you, the sunsets, the amazing food, add in fun, appreciate smiles, giggles and other moments that light you up. Don’t get lost in the “hustle” and “stress” of a big goal that you forget to pause, look around and appreciate.
2. You’ll never know if you never ask - something huge is coming and honestly would not be happening if I didn’t get an itch and then take that next step. I see so many people scared to ask, but what’s the worst that could happen? You get a no? You learn, you grow, you might need to pivot but then you can ask again. I think all of those cold calls back in the “big-box” gym days have really helped - it scares me know to think what would have happened if I didn’t suck it up and make a move 🤯🤯🤯
3. You get to choose the people who have access to you.
You can decide who enters your life and influences you. Surround yourself and share your ideas with positive and supportive people!! people who share your vision and make it feel like you could do anything … I have loved collaborating with the spotlights of Lunar and other businesses/individuals- I choose who I share my ideas, insights and even struggles with and I know who makes me feel better and who sadly makes me feel worse. This was a big big lesson for me
July was unreal, a big mindset shift and I’m SO excited for August
