Ferndale Lynwood Cricket Club

09/10/2026

Game Week 2 and we have a full house at Ferndale Park this weekend, with 3 teams at home this week.

Plenty of debutants this week across the two one-day grades, which is great to see! First hit for our one day grades, and both our two-day sides will be looking to back up strong wins last week!

A huge congratulations to Gary Bentley, who will be pulling on club colours for his 250th appearance. Can confirm he will be back at the clubrooms after the game (this probably didn’t need clarification), so get around him.

Season launch follows the finish of the games, so all are welcome back at the club to celebrate the new season.
Get up!

Cricket is back for 2026/27!

Unlike Round 1 last year, it appears the weather is playing its part tomorrow, with our 3rd and 5th grade sides taking the field for Round 1.
Our 3rd Graders are at Tempest Park against Phoenix, whilst our 5th Grade side are playing at Home!

Please get down and support the lads this weekend - The club and bar will be open.

One day grades begin fixtures next weekend!
It’s been a busy off-season, with record training numbers over the last few weeks and a whole lot of new faces amongst the old.
A big thank you to our sponsors for the new 2026/27 season, as well as all of those who have supported the club in seasons gone by. Let’s get it!

Training is underway!

We have just finished up our first outdoor net session for the preseason, on the back of our indoor sessions and S&C work.

With the first fixture less than 4 weeks away, we would love to see you down at Ferndale Park, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30pm.

Whether you’re returning to the club from previous seasons, new to the area, or new to the sport; you’re welcome to come down and roll your arm over with us all.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Please message the page if you would like more details!

Ferndale Lynwood CC are thrilled to announced that Howard Carter has re-committed to the club for the 2026/27 season. Fresh off his 200th appearance for the club last year, Howie is raring to go around again.

With a potential club record of 48 ducks 🐥to his name, there was limited interest from other clubs, but we are still happy that he has chosen to call Ferndale/Lynwood home this upcoming season. Looking forward to plenty more contributions this year from this club legend!
