This Sunday we're hosting finals footy at Matheson Park, and it takes an army of volunteers to make the day a success!

Whether you can spare an hour or stay for a few shifts, every helping hand makes a huge difference. We have a variety of roles available, including:

✅ Ground Manager
✅ Field Set Up & Pack Up

Pine Rivers Bears is a community club built by volunteers. Every coach, manager, committee member, canteen worker and ground official gives their time to create a great environment for our players and families.

We kindly ask all parents and carers to help us keep The Den a safe and enjoyable place for everyone by supervising children at all times while at the grounds.

✅ Please keep an eye on your children around the clubhouse, fields and car park areas. This includes escorting them to the bathrooms.
✅ Treat our volunteers, facilities and wildlife with respect.
✅ Help us look after the grounds by preventing damage to club property.
✅ Encourage behaviour that reflects the values of our Bears family.

Our volunteers are here to support the club, not to supervise children or clean up after them. Together, we can ensure everyone enjoys their time at Matheson Park.

Matheson Park will be hosting a huge day of junior finals football this Sunday, with five exciting finals matches kicking off from 8:45am and running right through the afternoon!

Come down and support the next generation of rugby league stars as teams battle for a spot in the next round of the finals series.

Matheson Park is home to more than just rugby league. We’re lucky to share our grounds with some local wildlife, including nesting plovers currently located in the back corner of the top field.

These birds have chosen our grounds as their home, and they have every right to be there. We kindly ask all players, parents, siblings and visitors to help protect them by keeping a safe distance and leaving them undisturbed.

Please take a moment to remind your children not to chase, approach or interfere with the birds or their nests.

By respecting our wildlife, we can ensure everyone, both on and off the field, can enjoy Matheson Park safely. 🌿
