Woohoo another parkrun is here in 5 sleeps and the volunteer roster is filled! Now we are doing a Volunteer call out for H E L P on 24 & 31 Oct.

Is there anyone who wants to give back to our community and not volunteered before? Please know you will be supported and we would love to hear from new and experienced volunteers. See recent legends in the photo modelling the vests, how good do they look?

3 SLEEPS TO GO!👑

Just 3 more sleeps until we celebrate — and crown — our local parkrun Queen as she completes her 500th parkrun! 💙🎉

Along the way there have certainly been some memorable moments…

🐔 Worst outfit: the rooster
🚔 Weirdest moment: being arrested!
🕺 Most fun: finishing the Bee Gees challenge

But behind all the fun, the stats tell the real story — 499 parkruns at 96 different locations, plus an incredible 116 volunteer credits. What an amazing contribution to parkrun. 💙

Hail Queen Bridgette! 👑

May 500 on Saturday be everything you hope for, and may the HAIL gods behave themselves! 🤞😂

We’d love everyone to WEAR BLUE this Saturday 💙 and help us celebrate this incredible achievement.

500 parkruns. What a milestone!
