Sometimes I wonder how to put into words what it takes to create something like Sistahood Rising.

Truthfully, I don't think words can fully capture it.

Words can't describe the countless conversations, the flowing ideas, the late-night messages, the willingness of people to give their time, energy and hearts so generously.

Words can't explain the magic that happens when women come together in service of something bigger than themselves.

This year marks a significant shift in the evolution of Sistahood Rising.

For the past decade, this festival has been lovingly held and guided by two women. As life changes, as it inevitably does, we too are being called to evolve.

And what feels more aligned for a festival built on commUNITY than expanding the circle of women helping to create it?

For the first time ever, Sistahood Rising is being shaped by a beautiful community committee .. a collective of passionate, heart-led women bringing their ideas, wisdom, gifts and voices to the table.

Because here at Sistahood Rising, commuUNITY isn't just something we talk about.

It's who we are.

We believe every voice matters.
Every contribution matters.
Every woman matters.

Together, we're creating something precious. Something sacred. Something that we hope will leave every woman who steps into our world feeling seen, supported, inspired and deeply connected.

And if you look closely at this photo, you'll spot my little granddaughter sitting front and centre with her wonderfully spiky "I just woke up and have no idea what's going on" hair. 😂

She probably wasn't expecting to become part of the committee meeting, but there she was, making herself right at home.

And honestly?

She's my WHY!

She, my other grandchildren, my daughter, my daughters-in-law, and the generations of women coming after us are why I continue to put my hand up year after year.

Because community matters.

Family matters.

Connection matters.

The world needs more spaces where women can gather, belong, heal, celebrate and remember who they are.

Sistahood Rising has never just been an event.

It's a movement.

And behind the scenes, everything is moving.

The ideas are flowing.
The vision is growing.
The magic is unfolding.

Soon we'll be sharing our presenters, experiences, announcements and all the beautiful things we have planned for our 10th Anniversary Festival.

But before we do, I want to pause and offer my deepest gratitude to the incredible women in this photo, and to the many women (and a few wonderful men!) who couldn't be with us for our first in-person meeting.

This photo represents only a fraction of the hands and hearts helping bring Sistahood Rising 2026 to life.

Hayley is our SR26 Marketspace Coordinator, Oracle Garden & Healing Haven Liaison — lovingly curating and tending the spaces where connection, healing, support, and aligned collaboration bloom within our Festival CommUNITY.

In a world that feels louder, faster, and more disconnected than ever… spaces like this MATTER.

That’s what we’re creating at Sistahood Rising.

The Oracle Garden and Healing Haven are more than festival spaces — they are sacred sanctuaries for reflection, restoration, wisdom, and meaningful connection. And Hayley helps hold and coordinate that frequency so beautifully.

She brings warmth, grounding, care, and presence into the spaces where women gather, share, heal, and rise together.

Because this new era isn’t about doing life alone.
It’s about finding your people.
Building tribe.
Creating spaces where women feel safe enough to become who they truly are.

My Loves,
I created Sistahood Rising because I believe women are craving something deeper than another event.

We are craving connection.
Real commUNITY.
Soulful conversations.
New friendships.
Spaces where we can laugh, dance, sing, celebrate, and simply be together.

And honestly… I think so many women are tired of feeling like every space has to be about fixing themselves.

Sometimes what we truly need is joy.
Inspiration.
A heartfelt conversation.
A moment where we feel fully alive again.

For me, Sistahood Rising has always been about the new era.
The way forward.
Women supporting women.
Collaborating instead of competing.
Celebrating each other instead of shrinking around one another.

Over these past 10 years, I’ve watched this become so much more than a festival.
It has become a family.

I’ve seen women walk in alone and leave with LIFELONG friendships.
I’ve watched soul sistas meet here.
Businesses collaborate here.
Lives change here .. not because someone “healed” them, but because they finally found a space where they belonged.

And maybe that’s what your heart has been longing for too.

Maybe you’ve been feeling that quiet whisper inside of you asking for more.

More connection.
More aliveness.
More people who see you.
