40 days to go.

And this countdown feels different.

Because this isn’t just counting down to another Sistahood Rising.
It’s counting down to the last one.

Ten years of women arriving at Fairbridge.

Finding their cottages.
Trying something new.
Sitting beside someone they didn’t know.
Sharing meals.

Dancing.
Laughing.
Crying.
Shopping.
Learning.

Making friends.
Making memories.

And in 40 days, we get to do it all one last time.

For those already joining us, the excitement is getting very real now. ❤️

And if you’ve been watching from the sidelines thinking…
“I’ll go one year.”

This is that year. There won’t be another Sistahood Rising Festival to catch next time.

No “maybe next November”.
No “I’ll do it when the timing is better”.

This is our 10th anniversary.

Our final gathering.
Our last weekend together at Fairbridge.

So if there has ever been a little part of you wondering what it would feel like to be there…

Not simply taking her to another festival. Experiencing one together.

Mum + Maiden is an invitation for mothers and daughters, aunties and nieces, grandmothers and granddaughters, caregivers and young women aged 11+ to share a weekend of creativity, movement, conversation and laughter.

There are things that become easier to talk about when you are side by side, making something, learning something or dancing without the distractions of everyday life.

Sistahood Rising is drug and alcohol-free, multi-generational and created with genuine care.

Make a memory you will both keep.

This year, we’re stepping Through the Looking Glass. ✨

One of our favourite parts of Sistahood Rising is seeing how women make each year’s theme their own.

Some go all in.

Some add one fabulous detail.

DIY the craziest hat you can think of.

Some arrive looking like they’ve stepped straight out of another world.

And this year, there is so much to play with.

Think Alice-inspired whimsy, dramatic hats, playing cards, red and black, white rabbits, clocks, mirrors, roses, queens, tea-party eccentricity, a little fantasy, a little mischief… or something completely unexpected.

There is no “right” way to dress for Through the Looking Glass.

Make it glamorous. Make it strange. Make it beautiful. Make it funny. Make it entirely you.

Then on Saturday night, we’ll bring it all together at the Saturday Soiree for music, dancing, laughter and a whole lot of Through the Looking Glass magic.

So start brainstorming, Sista…

The food is part of the experience too.

Across the weekend, women gather around beautifully prepared, professionally catered meals made for lingering over.

Good food. Full plates. Shared tables. Conversations that stretch a little longer than expected.

If you’re joining us on a SISTAFEST Pass, your meals are included.

Because there’s something lovely about sitting down together in the middle of a full festival day.

A chance to refuel.
To reconnect.
To meet someone new.
And, quite possibly, go back for seconds. 😋

At Sistahood Rising, connection is woven into the weekend - in the cottages, over professionally catered meals, while waiting for a workshop to begin and in the laughter after someone says, "Me too."
