🏏 **FIRSTS HOLD ON FOR A MIGHTY WIN**

Plenty 1st XI posted 6-182 and defended it with a disciplined bowling and fielding effort, keeping Keon Park to 7-169 to win by 13 runs.

**WITH THE BAT**
Gordon Zull (wk) led the way with a classy 71 off 97 balls, hitting 7 fours and a six. Nathan Gardiner backed him up with a steady 30 from 49, and skipper Matt Ross got us started with 19 off 40. Late on, Andrew Villani (20* off 14) and Jayden Bedford (15 off 15, 3 fours) pushed the total well past 180, while Nick Strangwick finished 3* at the death.

**WITH THE BALL**
Everyone who bowled did their job. Jack Ridewood (2-24 off 8) and Shane Cullen (2-18 off 8) were outstanding up front, going at just 3.00 and 2.25 an over. Nick Strangwick chipped in with 1-42 off 8, while Andrew Villani (0-28 off 8) and Daniel Stapelfeldt (0-57 off 8) bowled their full quota to keep Keon Park under pressure.

**IN THE FIELD**
Mitch Johnson and Gordon Zull took two catches each, and Nathan Gardiner was in on two run-outs. Sharp work all day.

**THE VERDICT**
A big knock from Zull, a great new-ball spell from Ridewood and Cullen, and a fielding group that backed it up. A great team win. πŸ’ͺ

🏏 PLENTY THIRDS TAKE THE WIN AT DIAMOND HILLS

Plenty 3rd XI posted 5-181 and defended it with a strong bowling effort, seeing off a spirited Mernda chase that finished on 7-167.

WITH THE BAT
Ashley Coles was sensational, smashing 102 off just 60 balls with 11 fours and 5 sixes. Leon Turner anchored the innings with a patient 32 from 89 balls, giving Ashley the platform to go big. Our skipper added a quick 7 before being run out, and Xavier Tsioulos (6*) and Lucas Gouin (1*) were there at the end. Connor McGennisken (5) and Pino Tino (1) also did their bit at the top and in the middle.

WITH THE BALL
Pino Tino was the pick of the bowlers with 3-15 off 4 overs. Levi Coles was miserly, going for just 12 off 5 overs with a maiden and 2 wickets. Lucas Gouin bowled a huge 7 overs for 1-32, and Connor McGennisken took 1-34 from 5. Boston Gist (0-23 off 6), Xavier Tsioulos (0-14 off 4) and Ashley Coles (0-26 off 4) kept the runs in check and built the pressure that brought the wickets.

THE VERDICT
A big century, a patient anchor and a bowling group that backed each other up. That’s a great team win. πŸ’ͺ
