Congratulations Sihath Kalatuwage and Liam Thomas on their qualification to participate in the Asia Cup in Ahmedabad from 13th to 23rd August.

This is a significant achievement for their basketball careers and we wish them success in the tournament and international experience.

Gator's Special Announcement

We are proud to congratulate Gators U20 Men’s player Sihath Kalatuwage on his selection to the Sri Lanka U18 Men’s National Basketball Team.

Sihath earned his place from a large international pool of players across multiple selection sessions — a testament to his dedication and hard work. He will return to Sri Lanka this week to begin intensive daily training in preparation for the upcoming SABA U18 South Asia Qualifying Tournament, taking place from 25th to 29th May in Colombo.

Gators Director of Coaching Randy Shanklin shared,
“Sihath approached me over a year ago to attend Ascend sessions to elevate his game for this opportunity. He committed to the process, put in the work, and has now earned this incredible reward. I’m very proud of his achievement.”

We wish Sihath all the best for a successful tournament and look forward to following his journey on the international stage.
