What an incredible result for our Para Hills U12s, defeating Flinders Park 5.6 (36) to 3.2 (20) to claim the premiership!

A fantastic effort from the entire team, coaches, volunteers and families who have supported them throughout the season.

🔴⚫️⚪️ 2027 SENIOR WOMEN’S COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 🔴⚫️⚪️

Para Hills Football Club is proud to announce that Michael Raine will continue as our Senior Women’s Coach for the 2027 season, with Robbie Ryan joining him as Assistant Coach.

Michael did a fantastic job leading our women through their first ever season. His ability to bring the playing group together, create strong engagement and build an enjoyable team environment was a major part of the team’s success.

Making finals in their first season was an outstanding achievement and a credit to Michael, the players and everyone involved. Michael has built a strong foundation, and we are excited to see the team continue to grow under his leadership in 2027.

Michael will be supported by Robbie, who brings plenty of football knowledge and experience to the coaching team. We believe they will work extremely well together and continue developing this exciting group.

Congratulations Michael and Robbie. We cannot wait to see what 2027 brings!

Our U12 Mixed team is heading into the Grand Final this Sunday against Flinders Park Gold and they would love a huge Para Hills crowd behind them.

After a fantastic season and an unforgettable finals run, the team now gets the chance to play for the ultimate prize.

Our Reserves kick things off at 12:15 PM against Rosewater, before the A Grade takes on Blackfriars OS at 2:15 PM.

🔴⚫⚪ UNDER 15.5 BOYS — SEASON COMPLETE ⚪⚫🔴

Our Under 15.5 Boys’ season came to an end on Sunday with a tough loss to Elizabeth Eagles Blue, 96 to 28.

It was not the result the boys were hoping for, but that does not take away from what has been a really positive year.

The group showed plenty of improvement, fight and determination throughout the season and earned the opportunity to play finals footy.

A big thank you to the coaches, team staff, parents, volunteers and everyone who supported the boys throughout the year.

Most importantly, well done to every player. You represented Para Hills with pride and should be proud of the season you put together.

Plenty to build on and we cannot wait to see what this group can achieve next year.

🔴⚫⚪ SENIOR FINALS RESULTS 🔴⚫⚪

Our A Grade produced a brilliant four quarter performance to defeat Houghton Districts 101 to 69 and keep their finals campaign alive!

The B Grade came up against a quality Trinity OS side and were outplayed on the day. They will regroup, learn from the result and prepare for another opportunity this week.

Our C Grade fought hard against Houghton Districts and never gave up, but unfortunately their season has now come to an end. Thank you to the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters for everything you have contributed throughout the year. You represented the Big Reds with pride!

The journey continues for our A Grade and B Grade, who will both return to finals action this week!

🔴⚫⚪ VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK: STEPHEN MULHOLLAND 🔴⚫⚪

This week we are recognising our Chairman, Stephen Mulholland, as our Volunteer of the Week.
Stephen has been part of Para Hills Football Club for many years. He has played here, coached here, volunteered in plenty of different roles and now has the privilege of being Chairman of a club that means an enormous amount to him.

If there is football on at Para Hills, there is a fair chance Stephen is there. Most Saturdays and Sundays he is at the club from start to finish, helping wherever needed, talking to players, coaches, parents, volunteers and supporters, and probably keeping the canteen and bbq in business as its number one customer.

Behind the scenes, Stephen also looks after much of the club's social media, works with sponsors, helps chase grants and improvements, supports our junior and senior programs, helps organise events and is constantly thinking about what we can do next to make Para Hills stronger.

But more than anything, Stephen is deeply passionate about this great club.
Para Hills has been a huge part of his life and he genuinely wants it to be a place where people feel welcome, supported and proud to belong. Whether it is football, community work, mental health initiatives, inclusion, facilities or simply making sure people enjoy being around the club, he puts his heart into it.
Like every volunteer, he does it because he loves the club and wants to leave it in a better place for the next generation.
