Leaving Mackay at the start of the delivery south. Unfortunately mast damage in the race up resulted in us withdrawing from the Hamilton Island race week.

Gold Coast to Mackay race completed. We pushed the boat hard, maybe a little too hard this time. She has never gone so fast and for so long. A few breakages this race but still excellent results. Thanks crew.

An exhausting but enjoyable Brisbane to Bundaberg race. Light winds challenged all crews. Balancing Act came in second overall. As the only Double handed entry we were wrapped with the results.

A busy weekend for Balancing Act. Taking the boat to Southport for the Flat Rock Ocean race. A small number of entries. Conditions were fine at the start with 15-20 knots downhill. The breeze built as we had a four-hour run to Flat Rock. At Flat Rock the swell was awful with 25 knots breeze a long 8 hour slog back, the final hour or so with a dying breeze. A wide range of conditions for crew experience and an enjoyable race as we had a race long tussle with Alpha Tauri and Yachtshare Ignition Racing Team
