This is Liam! One of the newest faces here at the pools 🙂

Liam just joined the team as an Aquatic Duty Manager and will be helping oversee daily pool operations, supporting our lifeguards, and ensuring a safe environment for all patrons!

And to celebrate the return of swimming weather, entry to Gratwick Aquatic Centre will be free on the day – More info coming soon!

𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 is a campaign from AUSactive that encourages everyone to get up and about, because these days a lot of us are getting more screen time than exercise time!

Studies actually indicate that 75% of Australians aren’t getting enough physical activity and that concerns us! So tomorrow, 12 September, entry to South Hedland Aquatic Centre is on us from 12-3pm 😀

We'll also throw on a sausage sizzle 🌭, some aquarobics 🌊, and a bunch of games and activities 🤽 to get everyone moving!

We're painting the town pink this September in support of the Hedland Well Women's Centre and the incredible work they do in the community 🩷

Every day of the week, from September 14-20, we'll have free classes open to the community, so come on down and bring your friends with you!

Enrolments are now open for our 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 🙂

Each session will be 30 minutes long, running over the Sep-Oct holidays 🏊🏻‍♂️ at South Hedland Aquatic Centre.

Places are limited though, so make sure to get in quick! You have the option of enrolling for just 5 days or the full 10 depending on your schedule:

▪️ Sep 28-2 Oct
▪️ Oct 5-9

Program fees of $60 (for 5 days) are payable in advance for placement confirmation.

Classes are suitable for children 3 and over, from Beginner Star 🌟 right up to Stage 4 🌊
