PREMIER PERFORMANCE ACADEMY is the brain child of Rhiannon Longstaff and Caitlin Sutherland.
2024 will see PPA close its doors.
17 years of memories, laughs, smiles and tears will always remain in our hearts along with all of the students and families that passed through the studio doors. Having danced since 3 years and 4 years of age respectively, the sisters had long wanted to pass their love of dance and performing onto the next generation. How amazing were our dancers on Friday night? 🩷
I absolutely loved our 2023 show “Fire and Ice”
Every single student rocked the stage and I am so proud of you all.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the night a success, from Den Mums to Prop builders, Prop transport, Hugs & Raffle prizes to my incredible team of wonderful Teachers.
All together we are just 1 big happy family at PPA, making lifelong memories and friendships.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the 2024 Enrollment information and an invite to the concert Premiere afternoon.

2023 we introduced the DanceStep program at our PPA. In our inaugural year we had 10 students participate in the program, completing online modules and assisting within a variety of classes.
I can honestly say I am so very proud of each of these students, over the past 10 months they have all taken their role as assistant teacher very seriously, showed up and put 110% effort in.
The DanceStep program also offers studios the chance to participate in their Annual awards - which are given in the areas of, Joy, Community Spirit, Initiative, Leadership and Kindness.
I would like to acknowledge the following recipients who have demonstrated these qualities throughout the year in class, out of class, during meetings and with their online work.

Initiative: Harper Longstaff
Community Spirit: Maya Gourley
Joy: Ella Fitzgerald
Congratulations to these young ladies and all of our DanceStep participants for 2023! I hope you will continue through the next few years in the program and I hope to add some fresh faces in 2024 as well !
