Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles and father figures in the Rockingham City Football Club family.

Today’s about the ones who are always there, whether it’s tying boots, running training, cheering from the sidelines, giving advice or lifting spirits after the tough games and celebrating the good ones.

We would like to give a big shout‑out to all the dads who help out as coaches around our club. Whether you’re on the sideline, behind the scenes or out on the pitch, the time and support you give means a lot to our players and to the club.Thanks for everything you do, on and off the field.

The Reserves are Top 4 finals bound with a 2-1 win over East Perth FC and take on Forrestfield United Football Club at Lark Hill on Saturday.

Fresh from being crowned 2026 State League Division 2 Reserves Champions, our Reserves now turn their attention to the Top 4 Cup as they take on East Perth at 1:15pm. After an outstanding league campaign, the boys will be looking to carry that momentum into the finals.

Then at 3:30pm, it’s time for the First Team.

The boys take on Wembley Downs in the first leg of the promotion play-offs, with everything to play for as the push for promotion continues. We need a huge green and gold crowd behind them from the first whistle to the last!

With three big games back-to-back, get down early, settle in for the day and help us create a massive finals atmosphere at Lark Hill.

Last Saturday was about more than just the final games of the regular season, it was a chance to celebrate what has been a fantastic year for our senior sides at Rockingham City FC.

Our Reserves were officially crowned 2026 State League Division 2 Reserves Champions, getting their hands on the trophy after an outstanding season and they certainly marked the occasion in style with a huge 9–0 win over Canning City to finish the campaign.

22 games. 18 wins. Just one defeat. 64 goals scored. 15 conceded. Absolute champions!

A brilliant achievement from the players, coaching staff and everyone who has played a part throughout the season.

Our First Team also took to the pitch for their final regular-season game, bringing to a close a campaign which has earned them a place in the promotion play-offs.

Their season isn't finished yet. There is still plenty to play for as the push for Division 1 football continues.

Saturday also gave us the chance to celebrate together. Players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, families and everyone behind the scenes who makes Saturdays at Rocky what they are.

And luckily, Faisal Fauzi was there to capture it all.

Tonight, FC Shoalwater’s Over 45s face Perth Azzurri in the Masters 45’s League Cup Semi Final at Larkhill Sportsplex.

There will be plenty of familiar faces on both sides, with several former Rockingham City players lining up for FC Shoalwater and Perth Azzurri. Our own Stretch and Rich will once again swap Rocky colours for Shoalwater’s blue and black as they chase a place in the Cup Final.

After a fantastic league season, Shoalwater’s Over 45s are now looking to complete the league and cup double, but Perth Azzurri stand between them and a place in the final.

FC Shoalwater have been fantastic supporters of Rockingham City over the past two seasons, and we’re proud to return that support ahead of one of their biggest matches of the year.

Then at 3:30pm, all eyes turn to our First Team as they begin their promotion play-off campaign against Wembley Downs. It’s the first leg and another huge step in the push for promotion, so the boys will need plenty of support behind them on home soil!

With three play-off matches back-to-back, it’s shaping up to be another massive Saturday of football at Endeavour Homes Stadium.

Rockingham City FC is incredibly proud to announce that from the 2027 season, registration fees will be FREE for children who sign up to our Football Futures Inclusion programs.

Our inclusion space continues to grow, giving children with disability the opportunity to enjoy football, make friends and be part of the RCFC family in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Removing registration fees is another step towards making football genuinely accessible to more families across the Rockingham community. We also hope it provides another pathway for children already playing within our club who may benefit from an inclusive football environment tailored to their needs.

A huge thank you to Alcoa Australia and Shape Disability whose sponsorship is helping us make this possible. Their support allows us to remove a financial barrier for families while continuing to grow and strengthen our inclusion program.

We were also delighted to welcome Football Futures Foundation to the club today and share the news with some of our players and families.

The engagement of this group both on the pitch and around the club, including becoming regulars at our Thursday night club dinners, has been fantastic to see. They aren't simply participating in a program; they're part of Rocky.

We can't wait to welcome even more players in 2027.
