A big congratulations to Zalia, who took home the KAGE Performance Award at our ECIC Interclub Competition on the weekend.

KAGE generously provided a rash guard for our award, recognising the competitor who demonstrated outstanding performance, effort, attitude and sportsmanship throughout the day.

What a day for the SPACE BJJ crew at yesterday’s Flux Inter Comp! 🥋🔥
Thank you Flux Jiu Jitsu for hosting the competition! It was ran so smoothly and we can’t wait to do it again next time! It was so great to see Midcoast Jiu Jitsu Academy Port Stephens BJJ and Flux Jiu Jitsu giving it their all! 🔥💪🏻

We came away with gold, silver and bronze medals, but the biggest win was seeing every SPACE athletes step onto the mats, test themselves and give everything they had in every round.

Some made the podium, some didn’t — but every competitor represented SPACE with courage, respect and determination. That’s what competition is all about: learning, growing and coming back sharper. 👊

A huge congratulations to everyone who competed, and thank you to the teammates, coaches and families who came along to support the crew.
