Westport Men's Bowling Club

After a string of bridesmaids results in the past couple of years, Ron Crowe has finally come out in front. Along with Paul Fraser he is now the 2026 Westport Men's Senior Pairs Champion. While Melvyn and Mike downed some of the more favoured teams in the lead up to the final, their run came to an end yesterday. Paul Fraser has won the 2026 Minor Singles. He beat John Walder in a game of two halves. John owned the short ends in the first half, until he bowled a too short end. Paul then took control with long ends and finally came out the winner. Great work everyone. Thanks to Paul Dymock for marking.

Glenn Hayes 'Claude' has finally passed the 50yr service mark to Westport Men's Bowling Club. Last week President Paul Fraser presented Claude with a Memorial plaque, something to remember the date.
