🖤🤍Proud day for the Magpies.🤍🖤

A huge result for the Magpies in this year’s representative squads.

7 Senior Men, plus 6 Emerging Magpies from our Under 18s named in the 30‑man squad — with 24 players running out at Wayne Richards Park.

Our women’s program is strongly represented too, with 14 players selected in the 31‑player squad.

Congratulations to Louisa Bahen‑Wright (Women’s Assistant Coach) and Dirk Sheldon (Men’s Assistant Coach) on their coaching appointments.

Proud of our players and coaches representing the AFL North Coast and even prouder to host the game at home.

⚫️⚪️Round 8 Results⚪️⚫️

An inaccurate first quarter saw the boys kick 1.6, but the response was exactly what you want — cleaner ball use, better connection forward and a polished finish. The Magpies controlled the match from that point on, running out 104–19 winners.

Matt Lill and Brendan Badenoch finished with 3 goals each in a commanding team performance.

🖤🤍 Round 7 Results Two Wins on the Road

The late shift to Woolgoolga didn’t slow the Magpies down, with two strong wins to close out the round.

Women — Port Magpies 31 def. Northern Beaches Blues 26
A tough, composed performance to open the day. The Women absorbed pressure late and finished the job with real grit.

Seniors — Port Magpies 125 def. Northern Beaches Blues 23
A dominant four‑quarter display from the Seniors, controlling the contest from the first bounce and never letting up.

🤍 50 GAMES BRAEDEN FULLER
Brae hits 50 games tomorrow, and his rise through the Magpies pathway has been nothing short of elite.

A junior standout who captained our Under 16s premiership, Brae continued to climb, claiming the Under 18s League Best & Fairest and Senior rep honors in the same year while establishing himself as one of the most dominant young midfielders in the region.

Now a Senior Vice‑Captain, Brae has taken his game to another level. Hard‑running, tough, skillful, and consistently impactful, he’s become one of the elite midfielders in the senior competition and a key leader on and off the ground.

Brae represents the modern Magpie developed through our juniors, proven in our youth program, and now driving standards at senior level.

Congrats on 50, mate.

The club is proud of the player and leader you’ve become.

🖤 ROUND 6 RESULTS — EJ BIFFIN OVAL
A tough day on the road with 1 win from 4, but plenty of heart shown across the grades.

Under 18s — Port Mac def. Coffs
An unbelievable comeback. Down by 30 points at half‑time, the boys dug in, surged late, and hit the front with a minute to go from a goal by Bailey Wilson to steal a win. Huge character from the group.

Women’s — Coffs def. Port Mac
The improvement each week is real and impressive. The group’s work rate keeps building, and two great goals from Amelia were a highlight.

Reserves — Coffs def. Port Mac
Shot out to a big early lead and looked in control, but couldn’t quite hold on as Coffs came hard late. Fell short by just 2 points in a tight finish.

Seniors — Coffs def. Port Mac
A genuine arm wrestle all afternoon. Five goals from skipper Shane kept us right in it, but the premiership quarter was where Coffs took over and created the gap.

Next weekend our Women's and Seniors take on Northern Beaches Blues - Seniors AFL at home, while our under 18s and Reserves have the bye.
