Jamie's juniors Rugby League program

Jamie's Juniors is delighted to announce the upcoming 2026 season and invites interested parties to submit expressions of interest via messenger. Our comprehensive programs include group and private sessions for juniors and seniors, scheduled to commence on Saturday, Feburary 7th, at 8:30 am at Stuart's Park.

We will also be trialing a new program for 4-7 year olds, focusing on; human movement, hand eye coordination, confidence building skills etc. Dates and times for this program TBC once we have the interest.

Reminder, our Committee Meeting is tomorrow night, Tuesday 13 January at 6:00pm, in the Ron Adam’s room at the Muswellbrook Workies.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. This meeting will be an opportunity to find out about our 2026 season and ask any questions you may have.

WOMENS TACKLE COACH 🐗

Moree Boars are proud to announce Lorilie Haines as the Women’s Tackle Coach for the 2026 season.

Lorilie brings a strong rugby league background, with extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of the game. Her passion for women’s rugby league, commitment to player development, and focus on building strong team culture make her a valuable addition to our coaching group.

We’re excited to see her lead and develop our women’s tackle program in 2026.

The QRL and the Arthur Beetson Foundation invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following staff positions for the selected age group teams from the 2025 Qld Murri Carnival to play in a representative carnival, 9 April 2026 on the Sunshine Coast.

There are 6x Teams (U14 Boys & Girls teams, U16 Boys and Girls teams & U18 Boys and Girls teams) for applicants to apply for.

Development Coach - Aspirational coaches who wish to improve their knowledge and experience. Community Coach (age specific) accreditation level required.

Coaching Assistant - Work alongside the Program Manager to ensure age group is given clear direction and understanding of their requirements. Preferably hold a Leaguesafe accreditation

Age Group Team Manager - Work alongside the Program Manager to ensure age group is given clear direction and understanding of their requirements. Preferably hold a Leaguesafe accreditation.

Sports Trainer - Coordinate first aid and injury management. Minimum Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation required.

League Safe - To help deliver messages on the field and to assist the Head Coach and Assistant Coach hold a League safe accreditation.

Applicants may apply for a number of positions but may only hold one at a time.

Successful applicants must be able to commit to going into camp with the team Tuesday 7 April to Friday 10 April. This will include a training session on the day before the game and Game Day along with general supervision of the team at the accommodation.

The Event will be held in SEQ with training times and venues to be confirmed.

*All applicants will be required to be compliant with the provisions of Blue Card Legislation
