A massive CONGRATULATIONS to our Warriors who represented Port Macquarie at the Under 14’s State Championships in Taree this weekend! 💙❤️

Qwade and Seath absolutely dug deep, showing incredible determination, skill, teamwork and true Warrior spirit every time they stepped onto the field. You’ve both done yourselves and our club proud — and we couldn’t be prouder! 💪

And how good is this… a big shoutout to the legends who made the trip to support the boys! That’s what makes this club special — not just the love of hockey, but the way we show up for each other.

What a HUGE week for our Warriors! 💙❤️

Last weekend we had so many of our Warriors, both young and old, attending the Regional Challenge in Taree.

In the PMHHA U14 Boys team we had Colin (coach), Qwade and Seath representing the club.
In the PMHHA U14 Girls team we had Tara (coach), Todd (assistant coach), JL (assistant coach), Mia, Amelia, Poppy, Sophie, Ruby and Claire all taking the field with WHC pride.

We also had Ruby, Sophie and Poppy Soph in Sydney competing in the AICES 15 Years Tournament as part of the Hunter Region Independent Schools (HRIS) team. It made it even more special sharing the experience together as WHC girls. All three played fantastic hockey, and a big congratulations to Ruby for being selected in the AICES squad 👏

Claire and Kenzie also represented Lower North Coast PSSA at the Grafton North Coast trials. They teamed up with the Mid North Coast girls and played two consecutive games in very hot conditions. Claire then stepped up to keep for the entire day and still completed her keeper session afterwards — an incredible effort! Kenzie had a great day learning and gaining valuable experience in her first time on a full field.
A massive congratulations to Claire for being named in the North Coast PSSA team heading to Bathurst in May.

We are so proud of the sportsmanship, effort and dedication from all of our Warriors. 💙❤️

What a way to kick off the season! 🙌

It’s been incredible seeing everyone back at the field, bringing the energy, the effort and the team spirit that makes our club so special. From trainings to game day, the vibe has been high and the commitment from every player has been unreal.

This season is about growth, teamwork, resilience and backing each other every step of the way. We’ve put in the work, we’re building momentum, and we’re only just getting started.

Let’s keep showing up, working hard and wearing our colours with pride. Warriors, this is our season 💙❤️🏑

A couple of weeks ago we welcomed some of our friends from Wauchope Physiotherapy and Sports Rehab Centre Centre who came out to run AXIT strength and agility testing for our players. It was fantastic for everyone who took part to gain real insight into their muscle strength and overall performance. The results gave players a clear picture of where they’re at, what they can improve, and how they can help prevent injuries heading into the season ahead. 💪

🏑 Warriors – something special is coming to training! 💪

Next Tuesday 10th March we’re teaming with Wauchope Physiotherapy and Sports Rehab Centre to bring our players AXIT Strength & Agility Testing at training.

This is a professional performance testing system used to measure:
⚡ Strength & power
⚖️ Balance and left/right symmetry
🦵 Injury risk (knees, ankles, quads & hamstrings)
🏃 Reaction speed and movement

Each player will complete a quick series of tests and receive their own performance profile and results to help improve strength, reduce injury risk and stay on the field this season.

⏰ Time: 5:45pm – 6:30pm
