Position Vacant - (Zip-line kit order fulfilment coordinator)
Working in a small business, assisting the owner to serve buyers and existing customers.�This is a “casual as required” position.�Ideally you will be able to work 2 or 3 days a week, Wednesday & Thursday or Tuesday - Wednesday & Thursday.�An ability to manage your calendar, and fit this work in amongst any other responsibilities you may have will be crucial.

We work out of a shed on the Jindalee road industrial estate - the core business is the design / installation / upkeep of ropes courses and ziplines, recently though we have started to sell home zip line kits to the public for use domestically.

If successful - there will be a probation stage - a training in our systems stage - then ultimately you will be responsible for the management of the "home zip line kits" part of the business.

Responsibilities are varied.�Because you will be working in a small business you will need to be able to do a bit of everything. You will report to the owner of the business.

Sales�
Communicate with customers�
Complete customer orders.

Production�
Keep track of stock levels and procure materials - then shelve these items when they arrive.�Schedule production and lead times�Assemble components

Dispatching
�Assemble orders
�Pack orders� Create consignment notes

Facilities�
Keep shed tidy and reasonably well swept.�
Put bins out once per month

Must haves�
Some familiarity with computers and software - at least at a level where you can use emails, calendars.�
Happy to learn how to drive a forklift.

Nice To Haves
�Experience with handheld tools like drills and angle grinders.�Experience in Outdoor Education or interest in outdoor sports like climbing, mountaineering, sailing.�

Experience with Manufacturing - sales - distribution.

Before Friday 3 December

Thanks to all who rode the zip-line and the hammock at the Ecototopia festival at Yarra Junction, organised by Ecoss. The Zipline was running from 9-4 and we put some 300 riders through. It was a great event, we hope to see you there next year.

A Nice tree house we were working on this week, we added a 70 meter zip line 'speedy escape' for the lucky owners.
