Port Macquarie Hastings Bridge Club

Apologies to all who were interested in our Open Day and/or new player lessons program for 2020. Both activities have had to be cancelled in accordance with social distancing recommendations to combat COVID-19. In addition, the club will be closed from 20 March to a date yet to be determined.

The 2019 New Player Lessons Program starts on Friday 12 April. Beginners will learn all about hand evaluation, bidding, responding, defending, advanced conventions and game etiquette. There will be plenty of practice play in each lesson so new players can apply the theory and techniques taught each week. The objective is not only to give new players a thorough grounding in the basics of Bridge but also to build their confidence and enjoyment in playing the game. The lessons are 9.00am to noon each Friday for 16 weeks at the Bridge Club house.

Saturday, 27th Jan, ProAm event, nominate byputting your name in the relevant container on the table outside the office. Whilst doing that add your name to the list of attendees for the free BBQ after the game.

Xmas party this Saturday, if you want to attend add your name to the list on the notice board in the Club.
