Our Sydney Rocks are deep-cupped and rich in minerals. There’s a subtle saltiness but the oyster?

Gratitude Post
Port Pearler Oysters has grown to be one of the leading oyster farmers on the Hastings River. Their signature brand, Mangrove Jack, is available fresh and sustainably farmed direct from the farmer. When asked, the Bale family did not hesitate to offer their support in the form of a voucher for some of their fabulous oysters. The voucher will be up for grabs at one of the Hastings Cancer Trust’s fundraising events.
LOCALS SUPPORTING LOCALS. Thank you to the Bale Family.

Spending some time on Port Macquarie’s North Shore? Along with the opportunity to visit Limeburners Creek National Park, swimming at secluded beaches, surfing, camping, hiking, and abundant wildlife, 4WDing and exploring
North Shore Beach, you can also drop in at 91 Sandfly Alley and experience amazing fresh Mangrove Jack oysters at the farmgate. Most weekday mornings between 7 am and 1 pm, our friendly team will be onsite to ensure your purchase is freshly harvested and premium quality. We’re at the end of the road - but driving that extra couple of hundred metres will be the best choice you make. We hope to see you there.

Where are these kids 70 years later? And how wonderfully evocative is this pic from the current exhibition ‘Pix:the magazine that changed everything (1938-1972). Order YOUR Christmas orders now and make some memories. Link is on our website. Photo info: Children tuck into freshly shucked oysters harvested from Lewis’s oyster farm on the Georges River at Woolooware Bay, NSW in June 1956. The Lewis family maintained a longstanding commercial association with oyster farming in the area from 1935.

🎄🦪 Planning oysters for Christmas?
If you’d like them shucked and ready to serve, now’s the time to place your order! We’ll have very limited capacity (as shucking oysters is so labour intensive) as we get closer to the holidays, so don’t wait. Not everyone is comfortable shucking oysters but our fellas are THE BEST!!
Secure your spot and enjoy a stress-free, delicious Christmas! 🎁✨
Unshucked? No problem…. even our office manager can count unshucked oysters into bags 😜
